Good places to chill n work

This is a shared apartment condo. Not a villa. The other 7 people staying in the apartment with us were all doing drugs and making noise the entire night. The staff manager chose to ignore the drug use and create a confrontation with the guests and others. It was extremely uncomfortable and NOT worth the price. The walls and curtains were filthy, there was a mold smell throughout.
You can easily find a hotel with proper accommodations in the area for less and better amenities. (and no drug use)

Was a fabulous property. Spacious villas in quite environment. Very fiendly staff.
Highly recommended especially for groups and familes travelling together.

We were a party of 7, including an 80 year old and a 74 year old, arriving from two different countries for a family wedding. The villa concept suited us as we were able to have family and friends visit us at our place. We were also very happy that all the villas are situated at ground level (no stairs or lifts involved to access the villas), with one bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor of each villa. The daily housekeeping was a bonus. The entire downstairs area has only glass windows with no curtains or blinds. Whilst appreciating the fact that this means there is security for all guests as there can be no loud raucous parties with gatecrashers, it meant that there was no privacy for us downstairs. Staff and other guests could easily see into the villas.

We enjoyed our time at AV15, but I'm not sure I would book AV15 again. The photos on Hotels.com website give a false impression. The villas are not in the condition that the photos indicate. I booked an entire villa for 7 women. The villa had a bad smell of mustiness. The master bedroom stunk. The carpet stunk, and the room had black mold. Thankfully I brought a diffuser so we could try to overcome the bad smell, but that didn't do much good. After complaining about the smell, they came and put something on the carpet, but still the smell remained. The air condition went out. It seems we had to call for the maintenance man daily.

Fabulous and friendly staff, who spoke great English. Very easy to find eateries within 5min walk. Excellent value for money. WiFi was present but didn’t really work though.

A security guide “welcomed” is speaking no English and looked for our room and keys for 30 minutes. Later it turned out that 3 other guys checked in to the same house and peed all over the shared bathroom and started to smoke heavily. We couldnt contact either the manager or the staff to ask another room se we left. Wi-fi didnt work either. Main problem is that no staff who could help/communicate of needed. I sent e-mail to them they never replied :(

We rented the 3200 sq for 4 bedroom condo for three of us the design worked well and the roof top terrace at night was a great place for late night drinks. Wifi was good parking was easy and readily available. Location was perfect and very close to the Indian Ocean. The reason I gave it a 4 and not 5 stars was there were some tired areas with stains on the rugs. Other than that I would fully recommend this property especially if there are multiple couples. Price point was fantastic.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. Renting a villa was the best thing because we were able to stay as family. The stafff were accusations when we had to check in early due to an expected funeral. They allowed us to check in early to shower and change for the funeral. The cousins used the terse to meet and injoy each other's company with out having to go to club.

The villa met and exceeded all our requirements for a very comfortable family stay. The wealth of space , cleanliness and furnishings were very much appreciated by our family of five. We could not have been happier with the level of care and support offered by a dedicated and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended for families wanting to self cater and enjoy a spacious modern villa stay.

It was exactly what was needed after 24hrs travelling. clean room with all the expected amenities. one thing that was strange was the shared common area per 6 rooms. this had the tendency to be untidy

room condition is good. cleanliness is mentained. located very close to sea face. didn't provide anything, even toiletries we have to purchase. charge more than double the routine cost for other services like airport pick up or drop. don't have restaurant but many good restaurants are available in walking distance.

Good apartment hotel (kitchen is shared with other rooms in the same apartment)

The place looked good but I didn't like because bathroom was seperate and shared..and no TV in the room as well as very noisy because they are like town homes. It would be ideal if a bunch of friends or a whole family was staying. If not there is no privacy

Very modern room with spacious living & kitchen areas. We truly enjoyed our stay there

Room, while not massive are comfy and of a high standard. There's a massive shared living area and cool rooftop to compensate this. Plus a small kitchen means you can have a night in. Close to Marine Drive, but far enough that you don't hear the trains rumbling past.

Overall very good. Only downside was that we came back after dinner quite late, (after checking it was ok with the team) and it took a lot of banging on the gate to get the staff to open it. This is after looking for a bell and ringing them etc.

Only stayed here for 1 night qhile transiting to Unawatuna. The chalet style layout is perfect for groups of people with communal kitchen and some bedrooms share a bathroom. The villas are brand new to the point there was a layer of plaster dust on the towel rail which must have been missed when the builders cleaned up. The room was very comfortable and the wifi was good
