Great location for our situation
Our room was not cleaned when we arrived, and the continental breakfast was old hard bagels
Historical
A bar under rooms. Music boomed through the floor and shook the room until 2 am. When we tried to leave the property, the doors were locked. We had to find someone to let us out. They said it was because the bar wasn’t open yet and they didn’t want people coming in. If there had been a fire, people would have been trapped, including my family. Staff was super rude about it.
Price and location.
Not very clean. Luggage rack was broke and no where else beside the beds to set luggage/personal items. Suppose to have a queen bed and there were a twin amd a full size beds.
Cleanest, staff, location
Neat little place
The room was spacious and generally clean. I liked the antique feel provided by the furniture.
The door was hard to open/close because it stuck against the jamb. Breakfast would be a generous description.
Central location, cute town, easy access to the bike trail, good food and drink in the restaurant, easy access to breakfast items.
I can’t think of anything.
The service and food in the restaurant was great! The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic!
I wish we’d had known about the DJ playing until 1am prior to our stay. The walls and floors were buzzing until it was over. lol.
We were woken up at 7:30am, 8:45am by housekeeping loudly knocking on door. Then again knocking at 9:45am and yet again at 10:45am. Check out was at 11am and we were walking out of our room at 11:02am. We yelled back each time that we’d be out by 11am. They kept coming back. There was no do not disturb sign to hang, so that wasn’t an option. All in all we wished that we wouldn’t have been woken up with a loud knocking at 7:30am and then having it continue every hour after we said no thanks and we’d be out by 11am.
Nice large room. Easy access.
First no one was at front desk upon arriving, but someone appeared shortly. Could not find anyone at checkout time.
Biggest issue was noise. Music from downstairs bar was LOUD, shaking pictures even. Talking could be heard, not too bad when the music was off. They didnt need to play it so ridiculously loud!
Location
LOUD environment - (bar/tavern located on the floor below the rooms)
Beautiful historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time hanging out in the bar, enjoyed a couple of drinks and an appetizer. Our room was comfortable.
My only criticism is that our room door stuck. Definitely showing the age of the building.
It was very quaint. Enjoying the antique furniture and character in the hallway. Also liked that they washed the comforter on the bed from the guest before.
The restaurant/tavern was closed as a holiday weekend. Disappointing but really appreciated the fact that staff had advised us in advance of this.
Everything was immaculate, it was amazing. I will definitely be back or we will be back.
Wish I had more times to see all the pictures and things I am going to do. A research on it because I met somebody from Lucas County and she said, did you do the research on this? I said, no I will look into it. Thanks once again for the blastful, stay
The rooms are right above a bar which means you don't need a designated driver!
The rooms are right above a bar which can and does get loud on weekend nights.
The friendliness of the employees
The bathtub was dirty with short black hairs in the shower curtain had short black hairs on the inside. The bathtub had cracks in the floor and the water disappeared but not down the drain.. the outlet cover in the bathroom fell off. The outlet in the bedroom had something stuffed into it and couldn't be used..
We liked the room cleanliness. Sorry, but that was the only plus.
On check in, parking is in the back of the hotel and to get your luggage, etc. To your room you had to come in the back door wind your way pass the dining area and through the interior of the bar. It was Friday afternoon so, the bar was crowded and narrow. With luggage was difficult to get past all the patrons in there. Then, through a door and up multiple stairs to 2nd floor to your room. Then, do this multiple times to get all your luggage, etc. That you need. It was doable but at 75 years old it wasn't pleasant. The bar is under your rooms and extremely loud with music, until they closed in the early morning. Loud people coming back to their rooms congrating in the hall before they finally decide to go to bed. Breakfast consisted of muffins, cereal, fruit cups, and milk cartons. Coffee was in your room with K pods. I thought it was odd that the muffins and cereal, breakfast items, were out in the hallway at 2:00 pm when we arrived and thought that they probably replace the items as needed. But no, they were gone from the people coming up from the bar at night and they were not there at 7:00 am. So at 8:00am,we went to a restaurant down the street, Margos, great place and highly recommend it, and we came back from the restaurant after 9:30am the muffins and cereal were back on the table. So the next morning the same thing nothing on the table at 8:00am. About 8;30 they came to replenish the continental breakfast, after most people had left, then it was time to check out and carry everything down the stairs, through the bar area past the dining area to the car. Multiple trips no one at the checkout counter so just left the keys. Just quite disappointed at the entire operation. Sorry for the long review but, it was an odd situation.
Está súper limpio el cuarto y tiene todo para darse una ducha
The Antique’s are cool. Rooms have character
Breakfast bar had one kind of cereal-no milk or spoons. Yogurt-again no spoons. OJ. No coffee. 4 packs of bagels but absolutely nothing to put on them. And that was it. I went at 6:30 thought maybe I was to early so tried again at 7:20. Same
Staff was friendly and helpful
