A must-stay in San Antonio if you love great food, quaint hotels and design.
Pros:

Great location. Stunning design and ambience. Incredible attention to every detail by the interior designers. One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in the US. And the service is great. All staff was welcoming, proactive and kind.

Cons:

Kids everywhere: in the Library, at the Bar (even in the evening). No adult-exclusive areas to enjoy if you are trying to read, disconnect or enjoy a cocktail.

Great hotel experience
Pros:

Really liked the hotel, its style, the location, and overall service from all staff members.

Cons:

Eat at Supper a few times during our stay and everytime it was such a big deal to find us a table - telling us they were full for many hours and when we got in, half of the restaurant was empty and the tables were not used during our whole stay in the restaurant.


while we enjoyed the decoration in the room, it was a bit too dark.

Un séjour absolument superbe à l’Hôtel Emma ! L’endroit est exceptionnel, tant par sa situation au cœur de San Antonio que par son histoire : une ancienne brasserie magnifiquement réhabilitée en hôtel 5 étoiles. La conception du lieu est remarquable, mêlant authenticité industrielle et élégance contemporaine.

Notre chambre était très agréable, le personnel attentionné et professionnel. Mention spéciale pour l’ambiance du bar le soir – chaleureuse et vivante, on s’y sent tout de suite bien.

Seul petit bémol : un peu d’attente au petit-déjeuner, mais rien qui ne gâche l’expérience. Et surtout, un grand merci à l’équipe pour la délicate attention à l’occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage : la jolie boîte de chocolats nous a beaucoup touchés.

Une adresse coup de cœur que nous recommandons sans hésiter ! 💛

Amazing luxury hotel!
Pros:

This hotel is superb! Every person we encountered - from the valet, to the bellman, to the bartender, to the room service - was super friendly and helpful. Every aspect of this hotel is next level. The service is amazing, the hotel is nicely renovated, preserving its heritage, the surrounding area is lively, and there are a ton of restaurants and bars nearby. We will definitely be coming back here!

Anyone who stays at this hotel exemplifies the phrase that a fool and his money are soon parted.
Pros:

I’ve stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world. The Emma was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced.There is nothing special about this hotel other than Molly or waitress in the bar who was amazing !

Cons:

How about providing a pleasant hotel environment for 1/3 the price. I experienced nothing that justified the cost of the hotel. I’m get it’s old with slow everything.Have the owner’s ever left San Antonio and seen first rate hotels?
I felt ripped off by the whole experience. This hotel is hopefully not long for the world at these prices. My wife had 5 bites which resemble bed bug bites so we got out of there.

It is an absolute pleasure to stay at Hotel Emma!
Pros:

I love the Hotel Emma! While so many hotels are no longer providing room service, the Hotel Emma is superior at offering outstanding food choices all day and night. The service is outstanding. The staff is always polite, prompt and super helpful.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I don't like.
