It was during the heat wave and the room was the AC only in vent mode. We had to open the door to try to cool it a little bit and still couldn’t solve it. The AC probably works fine during snow season.

I did not appreciate being lied too. I was truly trying to spare the office managers feelings about this property. In the future she should not use renting out to angry crackheads to justify bad reviews. That was a complete turn off from that point. Along with taking a look at the room prior to deciding whether to stay or not with the agreement that the office manager stated she would be willing to refund me if I was not happy. I went to the room and found a smashed millipede on the wall. My daughter told me to take pic after I wiped it clean and it was not hard to wipe off wall so it was done before we checked in and left on the wall. The shower curtain (cloth) smelled dirty due to absorbing water and not being washed. I looked at the mattress cover and saw that it had been saturated with urine and did not look like it was washed....gross! Lastly she tells me I need to point the remote at the cable box in order to change the channel, but who has a cable box hidden behind or under a TV not In plain eye site to change the channel comfortably. Book at your own risk! I will never try to down play or budget when it comes to getting somewhere to stay for a weekend get away. You get what you pay for and in all actuality it should have been priced cheaper. This is definitely a neighborhood motel and they don't care about who they rent their rooms out too, they just want your money! I called to speak to the office manager she answered the phone and said " Front desk", I replied " Hi this is...." Never got a chance to say my name, she hung up on me. I called back, spoke to a gentleman, explained booking.com will be reaching out to confirm refund and he stated he would let her know. She new the reason for the call and she new she was never going to give me a refund. This is not the first time she has lied to a customer about a refund. It is very unfortunate that this establishment is not trustworthy, and nasty all at the same time...smh 🤦!

Wifi didn't work. Pool needed cleaning bathroom was small I couldn't hardly turn around in there.

The beds were absolutely terrible!!! I ended up getting my air mattress out of my car and sleeping on it!!!

Staff wasn’t on site as much. The toilet was hard to flush.

The tv only had one channel and wifi wasn’t working - neither were a major issue.

Nothing at all

We were double booked and received codes to 2 different rooms that already had other guest’s belongings in them. This made me feel very unsafe. They were unable to put us in a different room and we had to make other last minute accommodations. I have not received a refund as of yet or a reply to the follow up email I have sent the property.

EVERYTHING. Room NOT made up when we arrived, which made me notice all the OTHER things that were wrong. NO ONE at the property to ask for help (office closed and locked) and no one answered the phone, initially. Fortunate that Lindsey (a "cousin" to the owner) saw me at the office door and offered to help. When I did finally reach someone at the Management office, they were completely uncompassionate or responsive to the error made at the property. Their solution was the check me out (of a NON-REFUNDABLE room) at ELEVEN-THIRTY at night!!! Where was I supposed to go?!?!? When asked what they would have done if Lindsey hadn't been there to make up our room (TOTALLY not her job but a godsend anyway) he said he would have dispatched someone out to the property, again, at ELEVEN-THRITY AT NIGHT. God only knows how long it would've taken THAT person to arrive, let alone get our room ready. ISSUES: steps leading up to our room are not set to the property rise/run so I tripped going up. Visible stains on the sheets, toilet paper holder broken off the wall, mold in the cracks around the molding in the shower, multiple broken tiles in the toilet area, light over sink would only blink on and off like it was bringing a plane in on a runway (had to leave the bathroom door open to wash my hands at the sink, which is not great if someone wants to use the toilet at the same time). Microwave buttons were so scratched it was hard to operate, Refrigerator would not refreeze our ice packs for our cooler. Coffee, but no coffee maker!!! One of the two beds had NO MATTRESS BUT A SECOND BOX SPRING!!!! Cable internet was stuck behind the credenza so we couldn't get the remote to work until we pulled it up and put it on top. Pool has plumbing ON TOP of the deck, causing trip hazards and NO LIGHTS for nighttime swimming. Deck chairs are longer than the deck, so they have to be placed at an angle, causing trip hazards if you walk either behind or in front of them.
