SELESA Tioman Home Stay Apartment

This place is no where near a beach, this is Tioman Island. There is no restaurant close by. I’m hungry and I’m glad I pack Mac n cheese. You have to pay for ride to go EAT or Go beach. Horrible place. If I brought food. I could make it work. I’m on holiday not a cook for me situation.

Value pricing only it's need to take shuttle out for better choice of f&b option as hotel menu very limited

Property is well managed and staff is also very friendly.

It is value for money. You can not go to beach after sunset as it is far but stay here is very nice.

The hotel responded to me emails efficiently. Check in went well, but I was really confused about all the extra deposits or fees they kept mentioning. The free transportation was fine getting there, but you have to stop at Berjaya and you're on their time schedule. Selesa is far away from everything and since the free shuttle doesn't come often, you're kind of stuck at the apartments. There is no restaurant so you're again relying on Berjaya. However, there is a nice beach about a 5min walk away and you can walk to Kampung Paya through the jungle. The decor inside and outside the building looked old and dated, the floor of the shower and hallway had hair, and the toaster didn't work properly. Not a good stay for a solo traveler, but good for families who want to relax at the resort.

Ho avuto modo di alloggiare in uno dei loro appartamenti. L’appartamento si componeva di due camere da letto purtroppo non molto luminose perché prive di finestra, un salotto con un comodo e ampio divano, di un piccolo cucinino e di un bagno.
Il mobilio non era molto recente e la struttura in sé non era molto curata. Necessitava ancora di molti interventi per riportarlo ai suoi antichi splendori. In realtà mi avevamo spiegato che erano in una fase di ristrutturazione, ma che molti interventi non era possibile realizzarli dal momento che alcuni degli appartamenti appartenevano a privati non facilmente rintracciabili e ciò rendeva difficile intervenire sulle parti comuni (spero che questo possa essere migliorato nei mesi futuri).
Vi è un piccolo ristorante, dove poter fare mangiare. Tuttavia la selezione dei piatti è molto limitata. Siamo su un’isola dove non tutto è facilmente reperibile. Quindi, il menù dipende molto da quello che arriva sull’isola.
Sono rimasto un paio di giorni sull’isola e le pulizie alla camera non sono state fatte. Immagino che trattandosi di un apparthotel queste vengano fatto all’arrivo e alla partenza dell’ospite.
Il personale è estremamente gentile ancorché non tutti parlino inglese. Ognuno dei membri dell’apparthotel si impegna per rendere l’esperienza indimenticabile per il turista. Vi è connessione WiFi, ma solo nella zona del ristorante.

部屋が快適でない。アメニティは何もなし。歯ブラシ、スリッパ、シャンプー、ドライヤー等何もなし。（歯ブラシ等は、知っていたら持って行ったのに。）
タオルの清潔感がない。大きなバスタオルのみ。湿気た感じだし、何より使うたびに身体中に毛玉がつく。（ブラウンのタオルなのでブラウンの毛玉だらけに）
ベッド、ほこりだらけ。枕も、1人2個あったがどちらもほこりだらけ！清掃いつしたの？してないの？
2連泊したが、清掃はなし。2日目にはベッドがきれいになると期待したのに。。
ランチは取れない。朝食と、夕食のみ可能だそうです。朝食は遅めに行ったらほとんど何も無かった。
立地が良くない。TEKEKの移動可能な範囲の最南端に位置する。部屋から遠くにはものすごく綺麗な海があるのに、そこへは行けない。ビーチもない。なので、海遊びは移動が必要。手段はシャトルバス、もしくはオートバイをレンタルするか。でも夜道は本当に真っ暗なので、自力での移動はちょっと怖いかも。
リンギス島への半日シュノーケリング申し込んだのに、伝えられた出発時間で向かったら船の時間に間に合わなかった。（ホテル出発時間が、なんと船の出向時刻だった。）毎日のことなのになぜ間違える？おかげで一番の目的を果たせなかった。

TEKEKで泊まるなら、絶対にベルジャヤを薦めます。。

The hotel was a bit remote. We were not aware of that it was so far to the village.
The service on the hotel was very good with friendly staff. The buses between were very good.
The wifi in the reception was quit poor, at the close by resort it was better.

Resort is located at the end of the area where you can get by car. To get there you need to pass Berjaya resort. Hotel provides shuttle service to Berjaya lobby every hour, to get to Tekek main area you have option to walk (around 25 min- hilly area, not so easy to walk) or take a taxi. Taxi service is massively overpriced, we paid 130 RM for return journey to Juara beach (around 10 km).

Hotel itself is really nice, apartments are spacious, water 1,5 l is supplied every day, breakfast is more then enough not to be hungry but its Malay food plus cereals, baked beans and sausages. Overall I could not complain.
Swimming pool is big and clean. Hotel doesn't have many guests as only 50 apartments out of whole complex are for rent. Staff is friendly and helpfull, they have arranged transport for us to Tekek ferry at 6.30 am.
I think Selesa resort is the best option in this price range. We have been to ABC and for almost the same price you get incomparable lower standard and at ABC there are no Duty Free shops, at Tekek you will find at least 3.
From hotel you can easily walk to beach, which is bit deserted but picturesque and you can enjoy privacy

Hotel provided shuttle transport between Jetty and Selesa Hotel...swimming pool is clean....their hotel kitchen provided Delicious Chicken Chop also....their staff helpful &friendly....I enjoy at this island 3D2night 08/05/17-10/05/17

Отдыхали в этом отеле второй раз.Теперь в стоимость номера включен завтрак, что удобно, тк магазинов поблизости нет.Удобный трансфер с пристани в отель. К сожалению, на ближайшем пляже обнаружили пятна мазута.В отеле сказали, что эта территория находится в ведении государства,и проводить работы на нем имеет право только администрация острова,которая,почему-то не спешит очистить пляж .Прекрасное место для любителей снорклинга.

The first night we stay was not a good experience. The power supply cut off at 2.30 am.
No one can assist us because the front desk only open from 7am until 11pm.
The power supply only resume at 7.30 am the next morning. :(

Nice hotel with a pleasant view.Swimming pool was clean and big.Staffs are very very friendly.The only thing i disliked about it was the monkeys.They are wild monkeys that cannot be controlled and trust me,they are very fierce.One even attacked us.Luckily,no one was hurt.The hotel did place stuffed tiger soft toys to scare them.I think the reason that the monkeys attacked us was because we kept on taking their pictures continuously and that provoked them.So beware of monkeys!

замечательный отель в Тикеке. Есть в номерах кухня со всем необходимым. Замечательный вид, бассейн, рядом чудо остров на который привозят туристов на коралловые сады, а вы можете их осматривать бесплатно и каждый день

very helpful and nice staffs and room condition was also ok.
and they offered us complimentary room upgrade. It was quiet nice.
I’d like to give u guys a small tip, the location of this condo is not so good but you can rent a motorbike near village, not that one beside of the Berjaya gate. The price of motorbike is 60+ per a day. It’s good to travel around with a motorbike. highly recommend this condo!
