nice location next to the lake and walking distance to town

insufficient carpark within the facility but it was made up with supplementary carpark outside nearby.

Lokasi hotel ini sangat strategik, bilik selesa dan bersih

Cons:

Sudah tiba masanya untuk hotel ini membuat baik pulih untuk bahagian porch dan lobby, agak uzur. Begitu juga ruang makan. Sarapan yang disediakan terlalu basic, mungkin boleh dipelbagaikan.

Great stay, but a dressing table mirror would make it even better!
Pros:

What I liked most about this hotel is its excellent location, directly facing Taiping Lake Gardens in Taiping. It is situated along the main road, making it very easy to find. The hotel is also only about five minutes from my Raya photoshoot location, which was very convenient.

In addition, the hotel provides parking right in front of the building within the hotel compound. However, it would be even better if more parking spaces were available, as the current capacity seems slightly limited during busy periods.

The front desk staff who assisted me during check-in was very professional and friendly. If I am not mistaken, his name was Mr. Wan. His welcoming attitude made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I initially booked a single/double room for budget reasons, but upon check-in I was pleasantly surprised to receive a queen-size bed. The room was also conveniently located near the lift.

The best part was that the room faced the lake, offering a beautiful view. The bathroom water pressure was strong and consistent, making the shower experience very satisfying and comfortable. The room amenities were also complete, including a TV, iron and ironing board, and a mini fridge.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

One concern I had was that the window tint was not dark enough, so it felt like people from outside might be able to see into the room. Since the view is beautiful, naturally guests would want to relax by the window and enjoy the scenery, but it can feel slightly uncomfortable and less private.

Another reason I could not give a full 10/10 rating is that there was no makeup mirror or dressing mirror outside the bathroom. The only mirror available was inside the bathroom, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready—especially for doing makeup, checking outfits, or styling a hijab. It would be helpful if a dressing table or full-length mirror could be provided. Maybe they’re afraid of ghosts—just kidding!

The location is perfect. We could go for a morning walk every morning in the park before starting our day.

Cons:

The room that was assigned to us did not have exhaust in the toilet. This meant we had to keep the air-conditioner on all the time.
