Taiping’s Most Scenic Hotel — Honest Review Inside

The location is truly the highlight. Being directly opposite Taiping Lake Gardens gives the stay a peaceful, scenic vibe — perfect for photos, morning jogs, or just relaxing.

Cons:

- The building still feels old despite being refurbished. You can tell it has history.
- The room rates are on the higher side, especially considering the rooms are quite small.
- If you’re booking a double single‑bed room, just know it’s going to feel a bit tight.
- Basement parking is limited, and the entry/exit lanes are very narrow — not the most convenient if you’re driving a bigger car.
- Breakfast buffet variety is quite limited, so don’t expect a wide spread.
