What I liked most about this hotel is its excellent location, directly facing Taiping Lake Gardens in Taiping. It is situated along the main road, making it very easy to find. The hotel is also only about five minutes from my Raya photoshoot location, which was very convenient.
In addition, the hotel provides parking right in front of the building within the hotel compound. However, it would be even better if more parking spaces were available, as the current capacity seems slightly limited during busy periods.
The front desk staff who assisted me during check-in was very professional and friendly. If I am not mistaken, his name was Mr. Wan. His welcoming attitude made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.
The room was very comfortable and clean. I initially booked a single/double room for budget reasons, but upon check-in I was pleasantly surprised to receive a queen-size bed. The room was also conveniently located near the lift.
The best part was that the room faced the lake, offering a beautiful view. The bathroom water pressure was strong and consistent, making the shower experience very satisfying and comfortable. The room amenities were also complete, including a TV, iron and ironing board, and a mini fridge.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.
One concern I had was that the window tint was not dark enough, so it felt like people from outside might be able to see into the room. Since the view is beautiful, naturally guests would want to relax by the window and enjoy the scenery, but it can feel slightly uncomfortable and less private.
Another reason I could not give a full 10/10 rating is that there was no makeup mirror or dressing mirror outside the bathroom. The only mirror available was inside the bathroom, which made it a bit inconvenient when getting ready—especially for doing makeup, checking outfits, or styling a hijab. It would be helpful if a dressing table or full-length mirror could be provided. Maybe they’re afraid of ghosts—just kidding!
The location is perfect. We could go for a morning walk every morning in the park before starting our day.
The room that was assigned to us did not have exhaust in the toilet. This meant we had to keep the air-conditioner on all the time.
Ramadan Buffet was excellent value for money in evening
Location is the main attrraction as it faces the Lake Gardens and convienient walking distance to shops and eateries
Room carpets need changing as worn and untidy being carpet tiles.
I love the relaxing nature lake view the moment i walk into the room. It's very relaxing and chill vibes. I really was relax and enjoy during my stays.
Abit inconvenient that there's no lift from the parking to lobby that i have to carry my luggage up the stairs 😅

The room was good, bed firm and clean linen. Air con positioning was also good, not blowing directly in the face while sleeping. Location was good, a stone throw walk away from Lake Garden. The swimming pool was also good & located on the rooftop so v quiet. The breakfast was so so for me only.
The bed was a bit small for my comfort. The location of my room was overlooking the houses on the back part so the view wasn't great.
Got 2 EV bays for fast charging. Open to public, not just guests. Most ideal location for the Lake Gardens. Room is not very spacious but it's also not cramped like hotels in Japan.
Buffet breakfast spread - very basic and covers bare necessities. Nothing fancy that's Instagrammable. Basement car park is too tiny.

No parking for normal room even the basement parking lot very less and also provide for executive room, floor not clean, only provide two bottle of mineral water, ask for water in the morning also can’t get cause near check out time, at night ask for drinking water also don’t have, need to go 7 eleven buy water, breakfast doesn’t meet expectation except for the egg station, the omelette taste not bad maybe can add more salt and that Malay girl with nice smile, I’m not expecting for five star service or anything but at least provide drinking water if you notice most of the kettle of the hotel not functioning or maybe you can consider have some self taking water please.

Very limited parking slot, have to park beside the lake. Very poor breakfast
The locations.
1) Very limited parknig lot. We need to park out side at the public parking area and need to walk for some distance. So dissapointed.
2) The flooring in our room need some repair becoz few of it peel-off (parquet).
