My room was very nice - in fact during my B&B experience, the entire hotel is lovely.

Cons:

I was staying on my own, and spent the evening in the bar reading and sampling some of the wines on offer. On settling my bill at the end of the evening, it was apparent that the three different glasses of wine I'd had, had been totalled as three of the most expensive I'd enjoyed - and there was a 10% service charge levied on the bill which is presumably why the bill had been presented in the way it had been. The staff had been pleasant through the evening, and to be honest, I didn't say anything at the time as I'd had a good evening, I was tired, and I didn't want to make a fuss. However, I do feel taken advantage of; I was left feeling that my bill had been artificially inflated to increase the amount of the service charge automatically included in the bill.

Superb room and staff.
Pros:

It was a superb visit from start to finish. The suite was spacious, warm and extremely comfortable. The staff were excellent from the concierge to reception to the breakfast staff. The food was freshly cooked and there were several choices.

Cons:

We ordered fresh cooked breakfast which was good because the cooked buffet looked awful. The beans and eggs were down to the scraps (and weren’t replenished all the time we were there) and the mushrooms looked dried out under the lights. Definitely to be avoided!

Fantastic hotel, with great staff
Pros:

Love the rooms, the vibe of the hotel and the view from the rooms of the airfield, listening to the jets take off is very soothing

Cons:

Was put in a DDA accessible room, the bathroom wasn't great as the handrails wouldn't stay in raised position so very cramped
