Spa was closed as well as pool bar. More like a 3 star hotel. Theres potential but wouldn't stay again. nobody answers the front desk phone either.
We had a wonderful experience at the Laurel Restaurant and our waiter,Simo, was so attentive and helpful! He gave fantastic recommendations and the Porterhouse for 2 was excellent!
I would like to compliment Ambrian who checked me in. I had reserved a suite with a garden view and balcony because I’m claustrophobic and need a little open air to not feel trapped. Sounds idiotic, but is a real panicky thing for me. When I got to my room, I realized this was not gonna work - no quiet views and no balcony or windows that opened. So I went downstairs and told her I think I’m in the wrong room. And told her about my expectation of the room I thought I had reserved. She immediately put me in a different room and said she’d meet me at the room as all my stuff was still on the luggage trolley and give me the new keys. So I rolled out my trolley, she met me with new keys, I went to new room - and voila! I breathed a huge sigh of relief - it’s perfect! Ambrian was absolutely courteous, professional, and could not have been more helpful. I think you have a real gem!
Great rooms, valet was on point, staff was helpful.
Ambrian was awesome! From answering emails to front desk service to singing at the bar!!!! Outstanding service & talent!
Patrick at the valet is always great!
it was nice that the amidites were available before and after check in. Traveling with kids the pool deals on food are better for feeding kids because you get a whole meal. inside everything is separate
wish they had better meal deals when traveling with kids. Especially for breakfast
The room was beautiful. The food was amazing. The spa was clean beautiful.
The room was really dirty. Hair in the shower not mine. There was visible dust. In the room
Ambrian and the hotel were amazing from a service and accommodation standpoint and the food in the restaurant was excellent.
My 85 year old mother’s AC unit went out this past week so she spent three nights at Hotel Viata and they took such good care of her.
Ambrian led the way and was so helpful thoughtful. Will was also great and was our first contact at the Hotel.
Anyway, I would highly recommend staying here and the convenience for those who need to be close to Westlake Hills and/or up and down Loop 360 is bar none.
Great job Hotel Viata!!!
My stay at Hotel Viata was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautiful, with stunning Hill Country views that make you feel like you’re miles away from the city while still being conveniently close to everything Austin has to offer. The atmosphere is elegant, relaxing, and welcoming, with a unique European-inspired charm that sets it apart from typical hotels.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet relaxing experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. Many guests praise the exceptional service, and we completely understand why. AMBRIAN at the front desk and SIMO in the Laurel restaurant were exceptional
We also loved the amenities, especially the beautiful pool area and the peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re visiting Austin for business, a romantic getaway, or a relaxing staycation, Hotel Viata is the perfect retreat. It combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality in a way that truly exceeds expectations.
I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone looking for a first-class experience in Austin.
The Viata in Austin is a nice, comfortable Hotel. The staff is attentive and polite, service oriented. The hotel offers and excellent experience for a fair pricing. I will return when I am in the Austin area.
Good facilities, large room
Room could be clearer, looks a bit old. Charged more than the agreed amount on booking. Never agreed to refund

My stay at Hotel Viata in the Austin Hill Country was exceptional from start to finish. The location is absolutely beautiful, offering stunning Hill Country views while still being conveniently close to Austin's attractions and dining.
The hotel's Tuscan villa-inspired décor adds a unique charm and elegance to the entire property. From the architecture to the interior design, every detail creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxing.
The accommodations were spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Every area of the hotel reflected a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
What truly made the experience memorable was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone I encountered was professional, helpful, and genuinely committed to making guests feel comfortable and valued. The customer service was reliable and responsive, ensuring that every request was handled promptly and efficiently.
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, beautiful Tuscan-inspired ambiance, and comfortable accommodations, Hotel Viata is an excellent choice. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Austin Hill Country.
Ambriah guest service host was very helpful at check in and throughout stay. Helping to take full advantage of the property. All staff were helpful- parking attendants, fitness/spa manager, parking team, restaurant staff. The property is impressive and the rate and specials helped make the stay affordable.
Gorgeous hotel, left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. The staff were friendly, efficient, and had a willingness to help. The location is perfect. It’s like a hidden gem. Close to get on a main road but tucked away for privacy. The food, and drinks were absolutely great. We enjoyed every minute there. We can’t wait to come back and bring more family and friends to experience this wonderful Hotel.
Great clean atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Kody (bartender) is a master at his craft (blueberry, thyme old fashion was an amazing twist on a classic) room had a great view, amenities were perfect. Next time will have to do a spa treatment. Definitely a superb value, I will definitely be coming back.
I stayed for a quiet getaway just for myself. A few evenings I spent the dinner hour at the hotel restaurant, The Laurel. The food was always excellent, but the highlight of each evening was my time with Simo, the Maitre D. He welcomed me with a generous greeting and showed genuine hospitality with every encounter. Simo makes The Laurel Restaurant a truly special place.
A wonderful young lady named Ambrian checked us in and set the tone for our stay. Our room is clean and beautiful, and we can’t wait to try the pool, workout room, and other amenities. We highly recommend Hotel Vaita.
I stay here almost every week, and the staff make me feel welcome every time. Ambrian at the front and Cody in the bar are always attentive and make my stay the best experience they can.
