Excellent accommodations in center city that was close to public transportation.
Pros:

The location was excellent. It was very close to bus and train transportation. The room was extremely large and was recently renovated. The breakfast menu was very complete and delicious.

Cons:

Being senior citizens we don’t care for too many steps, but the owner and staff graciously took our bags to and from our room.

What a little gem after initial concerns
Pros:

This turned out to be a really nice surprise! First impressions are that it might be a little run down. It's difficult to see the hotel as it shares premises with a pub. The car park, which is at the rear is also difficult to find and in a rather shabby back street. HOWEVER the greeting was very good, the room was clean, large and well appointed. The breakfast was also by good indeed. The hotel is in an excellent, central location.

Pros:

Breakfast was delicious. Varied breakfast menu
Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable
Staff really nice and friendly

Cons:

Didn’t realise it was a thai restaurant my wife doesn’t eat that type of food.
The pub had a good atmosphere with a variety of beers

the bedroom we had spoilt our stay in Harrogate.
Pros:

The restaurant area of the hotel is very nice with a pleasant bar. The food on offer is Asian (fusion)
with a good selection which is very tasty.

Cons:

The room we had in the annex was a shocking disgrace. The carpets are filthy, in fact black, they are so dirty, this is no exaggeration.
If our friends had not been staying in the same hotel we would have found another hotel.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and room was huge. 5 Stars.
Pros:

All around excellent stay. Room was ready on arrival (and we were early), staff very friendly, booked a small double, but it was huge. Bed comfortable and shower amazing.

Cons:

Can't think of anything negative, everything was above our expectations and more.
