Close to Hungry Horse recreation center & Nat’l Park. Very clean. However, beds were horribly uncomfortable & noisy, and pillows were like rocks. Won’t stay there again.
Nice place, about 30 miles to either East or West Glacier. The rooms are comfy, clean and remodeled but they don’t have a mini fridge or microwave. I’d go there again and would recommend.
Quiet
Just what we needed. Friendly staff
We stayed at the Isaac Walton inn instead and it was the best ever
The beauty of the property. The staff was usually friendly. There was no cleaning room service, so we ran out of coffee and towels and toilet paper.
Air conditioner was very loud. Friend said futon bed was uncomfortable; support slats poked through the three inch mattress. Shower looked like it had not been cleaned well in quite some time. WiFi was terrible and didn’t work most of the time. Good food at Izaak Walton Inn but limited (none) vegetarian options. Huckleberry pie was great. Safe area. Easy parking.
beautiful area
Needed to go to a different location to check in. The wifi did not work. The room itself was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay.
Small compact room /no refrigerator or microwave / 1 Mike away from check in / very loud continuously train noise and train horns going off / I do not recommend this hotel if you want a good nites sleep or if you have anything to heat up or keep cold
Reasonable price to stay fairly close to Glacier National Park. Great view of the night sky in the middle of the wilderness. Newer motel.
Small but economical rooms that suited our needs.
Property is located a short drive from the west entrance to GNP. Wifi is basically useless but rooms are very clean, yet on the small side. Not many options close for food. Bring food and drinks with you. Staff is located a mile away. Not a bad place, just be aware of limitations once you are there. I would, however, stay again if necessary.
The room is small but functional and clean and the location is great. Service is lacking the phone as you need option is not effective if you do not follow trough. The food in the izaak walton inn is below average for the price point as is the service.
The hotel is out of nowhere. The train horns more than five times each night and can not sleep at all.
Not a good stay ... good room terrible service, no amenities .
Clean, quiet, comfortable
This was an inexpensive place to stay at, considering the prices in the area, but it still was disappointing.
1. The room was tiny without even a table!
2. We stayed for 5 nights, but they would not vacuum the room even, despite us asking for it - they put it on a maintenance list, but it never got done.
3. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, but the speed was too slow to be useable. We had to go a mile away, to the Izaac Walton Inn which manages the property, in order to get a decent Wi-Fi connection.
4. The location is conveniently close to a highway, but also close to the railway lines, so you could get disturbed by the sounds of trains going by. This is not a complaint about the property, but is good to keep in mind.
The small hotel is cute. I enjoy to stay there but it take about 1 hr or more to go the west Glacier national park. The train didn’t brother me at all.
Disappointed in that the only restaurant in the area was very pricey with not so great service. The motel room was clean but was the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. Was glad we only stayed one night as we couldn’t have managed more than that. No phone service which was to be expected but wi-if didn’t work either. No grocery stores, no stores if any kind in the area.
