Sunset Motel

It was a very small place but served all of our needs. Very clean. Refrigerator was key to keeping the dove I shot cold! There was a microwave, plenty of hangars and a bathroom as big as ours at home...! Great shower.

It was good and comfortable I had no complaints about my stay would go again if I had to

It is an old place in the old part of town so nothing is close.

The couple who own the hotel were so kind and wonderful I would be giving this place a horrendous review otherwise. My heart breaks for this couple who are trying to make a living off this decrepit property. I pray they didn't spend their life savings buying this thinking they were purchasing an "idyllic" hideaway like we thought we were getting. The place is run down and would require enormous amounts of cash to even bring it up to standard! I would never stay here again. We did not shower because the towels were thin and grey we couldn't bring ourselves to use them. The beds were clean and the place was clean, except for the chairs which we could not sit on! This couple though I love them. Kindness plus! Sadly they drive a Toyota SUV late model, so I believe they put more money into their vehicle than they do their property. Like I said it would take millions. Hugs to the couple, but don't stay here!

Mr and Mrs Patel are wonderful! The room was just what I needed it it had a refrigerator and had a microwave it had a big screen TV flat screen and it had all kinds of cable channels. The only thing that I could see that they could and and I don't know if it would bring their rating up or not but one of those little hair dryers, and a little coffee machine little coffee maker and and possibly a little iron. And besides this this is an excellent place to stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your help in a terrible weather situation. It was very much appreciated. God bless

Great little hot spot to stay at. Couldn't find anything close to corpus. Have this nice cozy place to stay. Good budget hotel. Great staff ! Thanks

Clean owners were very friendly and made my stay peaceful

Family vacation (in Alice?) OR a picky partner? This may not be the place for you. Need an inexpensive place to crash for a couple of softball games or for a working overnight? The Sunset is what you're looking for. It was very clean, everything worked great and the rooms have been recently remodeled. Mr. Patel (owner) personally called me the morning of my stay and had the AC on early so the room was cool when I arrived. If I have one complaint, it's that the bath towels could stand to be replaced. Other than that, it was a great stay for the price.

Only stayed one nite. It was pleasant. The place is rather old fashion but clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice and made sure we didn't need anything. Would stay there again.

I was only there briefly, just to shower and sleep. But the owners were very accommodating and very friendly. I’d stay there again for sure!
