Among the old coffee houses of Malang .
Pros:

Great location, good room cleaning..Attractive bar and restaurant area for breakfast and other meals .

Cons:

Upper rooms are good but on lower floor rooms are near car parking area.I know some people like this if they have a car .

Not a great place for foreigners

Comfortable bed

Cons:

-no hand soap, needed to go into the shower to use bath gel
-the staff wake you up at 8am every morning to clean. I asked them to come back later but they never came.
-on a very busy intersection and outside of the centre
-front desk staff even had difficulty with google translate
-communal dispenser was empty during my entire stay

The rooms need updating; the paint was severely peeling off the bathroom door, no hand soap at the sink, and the vent in the ceiling constantly dropped black dirt onto the toilet when turned on. The wifi also didn't work during our entire stay. We also had to ask for more water and toilet paper in the room because we did not get the morning room service. Breakfast was okay but the toaster did not work. There is no lift and a lot of stairs, it was hard for us to carry all our baggage to the room.

Nette kamer, prima ligging in de stad en hele leuke tourgids Eko bij de Tumpak Sewu trip.

Cons:

Restaurant was op 2 gerechten na uitverkocht. Personeel doet zn best maar spreekt vaak geen goed engels. Ontbijt was karig voor de prijs. Locatie lijkt een beetje vergane glorie.

Grand hôtel établi fonctionnel et bien situé pour une escale d'une nuit. Ils nous ont fait un doggy-bag poir le petit-déj car on partait tôt.

Cons:

Au check-in, on m'a donné une chambre dans laquelle il y avait quelqu'un (!), puis une autre qui avait une odeur terrible. J'ai donc dû attendre près d'1h avant de finalement avoir une chambre.
Un peu vieillot.

Très bon séjour
Pros:

Le calme malgré le fait que l'hôtel soit situé à quelques centaines de mètres du centre ville. Le confort de la literie. La grande chambre et la salle de bain de bonne taille. La proximité des lieux intéressants à visiter, tout pouvant se faire à pied : quartier historique et village coloré (ancien bidonville réhabilité).

Cons:

Petit-déjeuner sans choix pour les européens. Pas de jus de fruits frais, un grille-pain complètement inefficace au rythme de 2 tranches de pain de mie par fournée.
