Disappointing
Pros:

Wonderful guy at check in - considering it was about 7.30am. He wasn't able to check me in early to my booked room, but on asking I could upgrade to another room. So that was great - and willing to pay the extra 20% for that check-in. I wished I had noted his name though - he was excellent.

Cons:

However..... on entering the 'upgraded' room, bit surprise to see how stark, under-furnished and basic the room was. I realise that sometimes odd room sizes and shapes can be 'character ', but this layout was very odd. Perhaps the pics will help to explain. Simply wasnt comfortable in almost any respect: The bed on raised platform and impossible to mmove round one side. There was literally nowher to sit - unless you went up stairs to a metre square 'deck' with a tiny desk. The TV - no satellite/ basic 5 or 6 channels that all seemed to be patchy. Pool area - well really unusuable... seemd to be about 3 longers and grubby grass.

Lovely stay at Lloyds
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay for a second time, here. The location is excellent (walking distance to lots of things, including Fort Canning Park). The outdoor space with the pool is lovely and we adore the outdoor bath in the big sky room. We’ll definitely be back. Staff are all lovely and Sha really looked after us 🙂

Pros:

The outside area of the hotel is nice and it is the main selling point. The room is a decent size. The staff were helpful and informative.

Cons:

The room was not as advertised. The view was nothing like in the pictures. It was directly on the street and I felt like I had to keep the blinds down at all times to maintain some privacy. The decor finishings were left unattended, which gives off a dated vibThe wall sockets were not secured and felt like they were plopping off if you unplugged too quickly and I think the worst part was the cleanliness. The was a ball of hair on the floor in addition to dust in the window ledger over the bed. This is unacceptable.

Short stay in Singapure
Pros:

We really enhoyedbthe stay in Lloyds. Confortable bedroom. Very quiet and beautyfull surroundings. The pool is very nice and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.
