Proud Phuket

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff near airport. Bit short of staff sometimes, especially at pool bar and housekeeping during busy times. Not far to main part of Naiyang beach and could always get 100 baht Tutut. Road that hotel is in is next to large building site and the street is bit run down.

As a couple in our seventies and not seasoned travelers this for me was a fantastic hotel.
The staff as always are friendly and helpful but it’s the small things that make a difference to me.
The bottles of shampoo and shower gel are clearly marked,my wife didn’t have to intervene and stop me putting conditioner on myhair.
The light switches are easy to find.
The shower was easy to use.
The safe was easy to use.
This is the first hotel I’ve been in when my wife didn’t moan at me.
So for you old people who struggle with dodgy eyesight this is the place for you.

I am leaving a 1 star review on this hotel due to the maid (cleaner) stealing money from my room. Please everyone be aware and make sure everything is locked away as hiding your money isn’t enough in this hotel. I strongly advise you put the do not disturb sign on your door and don’t allow access for anyone to enter your room. I have reported to the police and awaiting outcome to find out if they can help.

Counting to my last stay on 31st October 2025, i have been staying this hotel around 4 or 5 times. Firstly, great location accessible to beach at walking distance, aiport and grocery.

Front office staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and interestingly having bathtub makes me go there too cos i like soaking in hot water before i going to sleep.

We booked this hotel for an overnight transfer and had a disappointing experience. We had pre-booked and paid for an airport pickup, but no one showed up when we arrived. We did not have any Internet or Calls access and were left stranded. By accident one of the ladies at the airport flagged another representative down to message the hotel. We waited for almost 40 minutes in total after arriving at 9pm.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was no apology but we were just too tired from the long flight to complain. The manager appeared flustered, making mistake after mistake. To top this off, we were given a room with two single beds even though we had requested a double. The room was located at the very end of the hallway, and there reason was because they were fully booked which we highly doubted as there was hardly anyone at breakfast and everyone knows this was low season for Thailand.

The room itself was very clean and the value was good for money although the location was isolated. The breakfast was also decent for the price.

Very helpful and friendly staff and area around Proud Hotel was great. Many places to eat and close walk to the beach. Love Thailand

I loved it, planning on going back!

More animation is requires because there is not manny to do at night.
And offer more trips from the hotel.

Friendly helpful staff . Room nit ready but we had arrived much earlier than check in time.
Fantastic on site Tea room type place thats serves everthing . Very yummy .
Great massage place just across the road . By the time we did all check in time .
Room with pool access on 2nd floor great to just have a cool off or swim .
Market close by and airport a short drive .
Stayed there for the night prior to flight . Would stay again and next time longer to explore area .
Hotel organised Taxi for 260 baht and as early flight provided breakfast box .
Thoroughly recommend .

Was meant to be a four night stay but we had a change of plan so had to check out after two, however the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly on arrival especially the guy behind reception! Room very comfy, and had most of the amenities expected. Didn't use the pool however it looked inviting. Location great and not far from the beach.

Everyone was great. Food is awesome.

The staff were always smiling and happy to see you, very friendly and enjoyable. The facilities are also very comfortable and clean - highly recommend as a place to stay.

Good to have a softish bed in thailand .. great breakfast you can pig right out .. pleasant staff .. even had a bath in the room for the wifey

Far is a front desk staff is a very good and nice person.. very excellent speaking in English and a nice caring guy.. 100% best staff in Proud..

Lovely place. Staff was super friendly. But the designers for this hotel did not take into consideration during rainy season there's actually no proper sheltered walkway to your rooms and to the car park. We had to walk in the rain with our luggages to the reception when we checked out. And then again from the hotel lobby to the car park. No shelter. Yes, even though an umbrella was provided, but it still did not kept our stuff and ourselves dry.

And whilst the room was clean and had a nice smell, the decorative pillows that were placed on our sleeping pillows had a damp smell to it, and as such we could not use the pillow that it was leaning on as it stank. Housekeeping should be aware of this. Another thing for housekeeping to take note is that the towels given was fraying at the edges. Not very nice for a first impression.

Hotel was excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and the size enough for 2 pax.
We can sit in the balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful garden they have.

Breakfast also good.

For me the location of this hotel is perfect.
We can walk to the beach less than 10 mnt.
Also surrounded by restaurants and café, gelato bar , massages and mini markets.

For you who likes seafood , there are lots of restaurants within less than 1 km.

Definitely will come back in the future.

Great staff, great rooms, nice accommodation.Good breakfast buffet with large selection of food.Good restaurant. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. A nice experience. Location is city and close to the airport. We will come back.

Property itself was nice. Convenient location near the airport for our early morning flight out of Phuket. Area around the hotel wasn’t the best and had limited options for dining.
