Cons:

The hotel requires a $150 deposit which is not shown on Booking.com. They will require it when you show up to check in even though Booking.com states that you've paid in full. Hotel does not have a hot tub, only a pool. Breakfast was okay...coffee could be better. Beds are really hard.

Pros:

The bathroom was dirty. The shower nozzle to adjust temperature in shower was broke- very difficult to adjust, nozzle just kept turning!

Cons:

There wasn’t water anywhere! No jug, pitcher nothing! Other people staying there was old and inconsiderate slamming doors even after midnight. The shower nozzle in shower was broke, the water temperature couldn’t stay consistent. terrible location the noise of other guest was terrible. doors slamming all night.

Good location - decent value
Pros:

The king suite was spacious with ample area for storage. The seating area had a sofa bed with coffee table, which was nice and comfortable. Also a 2-person dining table with chairs. A wet bar, microwave and mini fridge was perfect for our stay. Bathroom was overall clean, though it had a lingering odor of smoke maybe? Its not something I noticed on the first night, but definitely the second night. This is a non-smoking room of course, so someone did it along the way.

Cons:

Check in took 10+ minutes with only 2 people ahead of me. Apparently, the person had an issue with their credit card and finally stepped aside so they could check someone else in after at least 5 minutes of trying. There was a guy who kept popping out of the back eating something but never offered to help someone. This left a negative impression of the management here. If it weren't for the polite front desk lady who apologized for the wait, I would have said something to her about the (manager?) for not helping her out.

Outside of the hotel's control was traffic noises. At times, it sounded like a motor speedway out there. Lots of muscle cars in Detroit, and they let you know it too. Of course, expect to hear sirens all night, especially weekends.

Decent for price
Pros:

Location was great, rooms were spacious, breakfast was decent. All staff that we talked to were very nice.

Cons:

Rooms could definitely use a little more attention when cleaning, a magic eraser to the walls would go a long way. There was a foreign subject on the curtains. Bathrooms do not have vents, and it’s basically a sauna once you get out.

The room, the snack sections with chips, pop and even dinners in the coolers

Cons:

How others can be rude in the pool, when there is plenty of signs that say no jumping in and they let their kids doing it anyways
