Nothing after booking the hotel we got the train to the hotel to only be told when we arrived that it's a extra 100 holding deposit although they pointed out it's at the end of the info on booking.com it is all the way at the end in small print this should be made clear in the price
Asked for money to be returned and it never was
nothing much. Positioning of the power sockets
Pretty much everything.
The location is near to the station and Ilford exchange
Just the deposit
The location was very close to the Ilford train station which was a huge convenience. There are also lots of restaurants close by.
The pillows were so flat, literally non existent. We requested extra pillows after the first night. They forgot to provide us on the second night. And we only got them for our final night after another request.
🙏🙏🙏

The location of the property is good
its all over clean
One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
I arrived late after a long, exhausting day of meetings across London. It was raining heavily, and both my wife and I were extremely tired. Despite visible parking spaces on the hotel driveway, the receptionist refused parking rudely and provided no help with street parking information.
I was sent outside multiple times in the rain to figure out paid parking myself. After that, I was told the room I booked at Lucky 8 Hotel was not available—without any prior notice. I was forced to walk 7–8 minutes in heavy rain with all my luggage to two different properties, rejecting the first due to extremely poor conditions.
Even after accepting a room, I was made to walk back again to the original hotel to complete paperwork and pay a £100 deposit, then walk back once more. I finally got access to the room at 12:43 a.m.
To make matters worse, at 7:00 a.m., the receptionist Marius knocked on my door and demanded I move my car because someone else needed the parking.
Total lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic hospitality. Absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The broadband connection was poor, making it impossible to do anything online.
Due to poor broadband, I couldn’t do anything on the internet.
Nothing
Fist of all, we chose the accomodation for the location as it is situated near the tube station for easy access to London as my partner has a knee injury. We arrived at the 3 star hotel and was directed to their sister hotel , a five minute drive away. On arriving, at the 2 star hotel, we was greeted by the reception staff and a security guard. On the right hand side of the reception was a room full of kid’s buggies and pushchairs hinting to me that this was a halfway accommodation. We was then escorted by the security guard and taken to our room. Although it was clean it was dated and the bathroom was small and cramped. Beds were uncomfortable and we only had one pillow. During the night there was constant noise and banging off doors. We were booked for 2 nights but handed the key back but only stayed the one night. Not happy and will never stay here again
We had to buy food and had the food in a common room in spite of the fact that they had a kitchenette. For the location, it was perfect.
The hospitality was zero
The staff were not courteous. They will not greet guests warmly and would not answer greetings
The hotel mgt removed the visitors chair from the reception.
The hotel was not children friendly.
Poor internet service.
No intercoms in the rooms
No hangers in the wardrobe
No effective communication with guests.
Relocating guests without prior information or notice.
Near to main lane
Staff ok
Lots of noise, slammed doors, crying children. ....
