Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Utica

Stayed here for one night before touring Hamilton College. The room was clean and quiet. Lots of dining options near hotel. Free breakfast was basic, but sufficient. Free parking.

The hotel is in a great area it’s really clean had a great breakfast and the staff was excellent.

NIce, basic quiet hotel. Staff is friendly--had good dinner recommendations. Basically priced. Centrally located

Overall, my stay was good, but I was disappointed with my experience at the front desk during the overnight shift.
When I went to the front desk for assistance, the employee was in the back office with the door almost completely closed. I had to call out several times, and eventually raise my voice, before anyone came out to help me. When she did come out, she seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable.
I understand overnight staff may have other responsibilities, but the front desk should remain attentive and approachable for guests who need assistance. A more welcoming attitude and better visibility at the front desk would greatly improve the guest experience.

Both management, Ms Courtney and Ms Maryann included, and staff including housekeeping and dietary staff, Ms Dixie included are phenomenal!!!! Always go above and beyond and give the best guest experience!! I always feel at home, away from home and this means the world to frequent Marriot Bonvoy guests like me! Thank you!!

Had such a great stay. Clean rooms and the friendliest, most accommodating staff in the area. I’ve stayed at several hotels in/around Utica and always choose FairField. Mariann in particular is a godsend when it comes to helping me get the rooms I need! (Traveling with kids)

Everything from the greeting at the front desk to the management and cleaning workers everyone is very friendly!! Never had a problem!

The rooms were amazing! So much space! The staff was by far the best I’ve seen! The front desk Alyssa was so professional and helped me get my room perfectly the want I requested. The GM Mariann I saw during breakfast, she was very polite and asked if I needed anything to make my stay more enjoyable, I told her everything was 5 stars and amazing!!

My friend got a room for a girls trip. It was very nice and priced fair. Need some extra shampoo and Alyssa was very help. She also suggested some excellent recommendations to eat at. I really enjoyed the friendly staff, clean rooms. Will definitely use this place again when I come back to town.

Only place in the Utica area that I will frequent when in town visiting my son. The staff is beyond accommodating and makes it feel like "home" every time I visit. Mariann is so pleasant and professional, and speaks highly of the property and team she has alongside her. Common courtesy is hard to find these days, I can always count on Fairfield!

This place is great! Close to downtown, blocks from the aud. Alyssa at the front desk can help with whatever you need. She's been great everytime we stay.

The executive housekeeper, jessica, is always so friendly and personable. Shes always going out of her way to ensure we enjoy our stay and have everything we need.

This place was a good stop for the night on my way through the area. Right off i90 which made it easy. Alyssa at the front desk was helpful in finding a place to eat and making sure i had everything i needed.

Chef Dixie is the best in the biz. A great asset for Fairfield and epitome of what it means to work in the hospitality industry.
