Excellent rooms and buildings but no staff makes it feel you’re staying in someone empty house.

Quality buildings and finish

Cons:

Isolated feel when in retreat suite, essentially you stay in a room (1 of 6) in a very large, empty house, about 100 m from the main lodge. A feeling of disconnection as there are almost no staff, we saw one on the evening and 2 at breakfast, no true reception so lack of service feel, staff people, etc

A stay straight from a dream
Pros:

Stoneridge Estate exceeded every single expectation. The property is beautiful, overlooking a vineyard, the lake, and the mountains that paint the skyline. The Arrow room is the most beautiful hotel room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in - it was a room straight out of my dreams! The staff, especially Daniel, were extremely kind and went out of their way to insure we had the best stay possible. I will think about this stay often and hope to return in the future.

Nothing - it was perfect.

Beautiful retreat in the outskirts of Queenstown
Pros:

The estate itself and the staff are perfect, special thanks to Daniel who is really a master of all trades!

Cons:

No restaurant in the estate, and sometimes it would have been nice to see more staff on site.

The estate, lodge and staff are amazing - highly recommend.
Pros:

Venue itself was delightful with amazing grounds and facilitiies. Breakfast and staff service were outstanding.

Cons:

A little tricky to get to but a great location none the less with other regional highlights nearby - if you have transport!

Pros:

Die Lage am See war super und das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend. Leider durften wir das gym in der gebuchten Kategorie nicht nützen, was bei dem Zimmerpreis nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar ist.
Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nur bedingt.

The breakfast was good and staff very helpful.

Cons:

I found the photos on the website to be misleading as the hotel is presented as being in a large isolated property whereas it is actually on a hillside with other buildings not far from a main road. For me this is not a 5 star property as advertised, rather 4 star.
