Great value for one night in Zermatt!
Pros:

Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Our room had a private bathroom, which was better than the shared bathrooms. Late check in was very easy.

Cons:

Pillows were too soft (not very full).

Tranquil and friendly place to stay.
Pros:

Location was excellent- right next to the train station and bus stop for the ski bus, yet very quiet despite so much foot traffic.

Cons:

I wish there would have been a warning about no elevator. I would have packed differently. However, the staff were very kind and offered me a locker on the main floor so I didn't have to haul my large suitcase up 5 flights of stairs.

Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick aufs Matterhorn.

Cons:

Weil das Zermatt Unplugged stattfand, waren viele Leute abends auf der Bahnhofstrasse unterwegs und man hörte sie natürlich auch im Zimmer.

Great location, Authentic swiss experienced.

Exceptional Location super close to train station.
Swiss Chalet stayed experience.
The history of the hotel.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel has no elevator it’s very tough for us who’s traveling with a big suitcases moving around from the luggage rooms and up to the room.
The cleanliness needs some attention as we found many dusts on bed head. However shared bathroom is pretty clean.

Very near station

Cons:

No lift — we had to carry all our luggage up to the 3rd floor ourselves, which was very difficult. No reception staff; everything is self check-in with no assistance.

Shared bathroom and toilet. Not suitable at all for guests with heavy luggage.

The floor is bare concrete with no carpet or flooring, making it extremely cold. Blankets are old and smell bad. The heating system is very poor and not warm enough.

The shower is also bad — water comes out weak and scattered, making it hard to rinse soap properly.

Overall, a very uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend.

Pros:

The location is just perfect, it is next to the train station, there is a bus stop nearby and a couple of grocery stores. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is full of appliances, you can cook almost anything.

Cons:

There is no lift. After a full day of snowboarding it is hard to climb to the top floor. The dorm beds do not have curtains.

keine separaten Waschräume für Frauen und Männer, Waschbecken nur im Vorraum zu den Toiletten; wenig Ablagemöglichkeit in der Dusche, der Premiumschlafsaal stellt sich als sehr einfacher Schlafsaal mit wenig Privatsphäre heraus, Gemeinschaftsküche im Untergeschoss, kein attraktiver Gemeinschaftsraum

Cons:

Room decoration and lighting is bad. Very white lights with cheap white leds on the bedside and barely decorated. Feels like a private hostel.

Great value for Zermatt. The room was very nice. The kitchen was absolutely awesome. Great place to cook in and visit with other guests. Front desk staff was the best!
