A nightmare
Pros:

The geographical position of the hotel

Cons:

I traveled to Istanbul for three days to prepare a presentation. Unfortunately, there was no chair in my room. I asked the hotel manager to provide one so I could sit and prepare my presentation, but the request was declined. I was instead asked to move to a noisy common area, which was not suitable for focused work.

As a result, due to the lack of adequate support and appropriate working conditions, I missed the opportunity to properly prepare the presentation.

L’endroit près de marina

Réfrigérateur qui ne marche pas, le retard incroyable quand tu demande un truc ( j’ai demandé le service ménage 1000 fois, la femme n’est venue qu’après 10 heures alors qu’elle est en couloir du même étage, j’ai demandé de réparer le réfrigérateur ou le change il ont refusé ils disent qu’ils ne comprennent rien alors qui parlent l’anglais , mais il ont changé ce matériel après 2 jours et apres un grand scandale , lorsque un taxi viens vous prendre ils refusent de vous appeler dans votre chambre pour vous informer… wifi et électricité qui s’est coupé pendant le séjour (j’avais un travail à faire qui nécessite Google meet mais j’ai pas pu le faire… ils disent un problème technique dans le wifi et on peut rien faire) ….

I stayed at the property for 1 night and had to leave/ cancel the rest of my reservation and rebook a hotel elsewhere, due to the hotel problems.
1. The elevator was broken
2. Broken fridge
3. Hole in ceiling
4. Shower head broken
5. Remote not working
6. Extremely filthy furniture
7. Very loud night club all night long I could hear pounding noise
8. All night long I could hear people on the street talking from my room which was on the 3rd floor.
9. I did not get any sleep at all.

11. Windows we’re filthy also
& Management refused to refund me.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

vielen Dank für Ihre Nachfrage. Leider war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel sehr unzufrieden. Hier die Punkte, die mir überhaupt nicht gefallen haben:
1. Extrem schmutziges Badezimmer:
Bei unserer Ankunft war das Badezimmer in einem derart dreckigen und ekelerregenden Zustand, dass ich gezwungen war, selbst Reinigungsmittel wie Clorix zu kaufen und das Badezimmer zu putzen, bevor ich überhaupt duschen konnte. Besonders schlimm waren zwei völlig abgenutzte, verdreckte Toilettenbürsten, die offensichtlich seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr gewechselt worden waren.
2. Sprachbarrieren:
Das Personal sprach kaum Englisch. Nur ein Mitarbeiter konnte sich auf Englisch verständigen. Obwohl ich dankbar für den Service war, war es völlig unpassend, dass man mir um Mitternacht Kaffee anbieten wollte – zu einer Zeit, zu der ich eigentlich schlafen wollte.
3. Lärmbelästigung:
Das Hotelzimmer lag an einer stark befahrenen Straße oder Autobahn. Die Fenster waren so schlecht isoliert, dass man den Verkehrslärm ununterbrochen hörte. Zusätzlich gab es jeden Abend extrem laute Musik (wie aus einer Diskothek) bis etwa 3 oder 4 Uhr morgens. An Schlaf war kaum zu denken.
4. Fehlende internationale Standards:
Das Fernsehangebot bestand ausschließlich aus türkischen Sendern – es gab keine internationalen Programme oder Satellitenfernsehen.
5. Unangenehme Umgebung:
Obwohl die Marina Ataköy gegenüber sehr modern und gepflegt ist, war die direkte Umgebung des Hotels in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Für mich wirkte die Gegend unsicher und ungepflegt.

Insgesamt entsprach das Hotel weder den Erwartungen an ein 4-Sterne-Haus noch den Beschreibungen, die auf der Buchungsplattform zu finden waren. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv niemandem weiterempfehlen.
