Nice location, close to park entrance, nice pod to relax, good restaurants near by. We got the bottom room in octagon shape.
Wish had better option for breakfast, gave boiled eggs in advance for 2 days and they were not edible by 2nd day.
Amazing place and location. While not directly attached to the park entrance it is located 40 min drive, submerged in a forest. The main house looks magical, taken from a fairytale. I stayed in the paradise yurt, which is located 2-3 minutes walk from the house into the forest. Completely secluded (and very dark). Note that the toilets are located in main building so you would need a flashlight for the night.
Also, the path to the yurt is not suitable for suitcases.
Close to the entrance of Mt Rainier
Location is good
Shower water no pressure
Fantastic gem and so close to Mount Rainier! Charming turn of the century inn. Awesome!
How close it was to mt Rainer
Didn't come with a breakfast and I believe I read that it would. And really expensive for what you get
This lodge is nothing fancy but it is VERY close to the entrance of the park. Our room was a good size for the 4 of us and the free grab and go breakfast was a plus. The staff were very nice and check in and checkout were super easy.
Location
Bathroom, Wifi
Location was near the entrance to the park, so that was a plus. And there is a great restaurant, Wild Berry, across the street.
The place needs updating in all aspects. I am sure it is a struggle to keep a big, old place like this up, but it was a bit on the rough side.
The location is great but the room is kind of dirty.
I wonder if they ever changed the bed linens at all. The window is closed and can't be opened so the air inside the room is terrible.
The breakfast was a great bonus and I thought that how they handled breakfast was creative and effective.
Alexander’s Lodge made for a lovely getaway. The team was incredibly friendly and shared thoughtful dining recommendations, our room was clean and comfortable, and the peaceful grounds added to the charm. We left feeling relaxed and happy with our stay.
Beautiful area with access to Mt. Rainier and close to some good eating establishments. The pond with the trout was nice. The people working there are wonderful.
