Royal Khattar Hotel

Pretty ordinary. Good location but the hotel and rooms seem to be somewhat run down due to low occupancy.

A wonderful place where I'd stay again and certainly recommend. Incredible value. I rented the largest room (which sleeps 3) and it was the size of a small apartment, with full living room and desk. Very comfortable. The service is impeccable and very courteous. RKH is not perfect: The restaurant is forgettable, the bed and pillows are hard and the area is devoid of any real eating options. It's 1.4 miles to Shwedagon, but not much else, except for a couple embassies, which is why I was there.

I really like this Hotel..I have booked here 3 times..Can't beat the price for what you get..The staff is to attentive, ,every one stands when I enter the lobby, I have to complain about something! !!.The breakfast buffet is the best...
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. .
They call you a taxi anytime and give you the rate,,spot on..

Have stayed in 3 hotels in yangon on this adventure. Nice hotel, helpful staff, good shower, wi-fi good, breakfast good. Within 5 mins lotsa bar/ restaurants. Was a good choice. Need transport to get into City.

quiet area, a bit of a walk to the places in sanchaung. but they can call a taxi for you if needed. hotel is great with good and clean rooms, beds and shower rooms. a simple breakfast is available which has all the basics needed.

Quiet hotel with eateries just a short walk to the main road. Value for money. Buffet breakfast acceptable with western and local choices.

Good hotel, with large clean rooms. Good service too. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

pleasant and good rest

I have stayed one night and it was reasonable for it, however the room was not clean.
The staff was really, really nice, attentive and helpful.

We stayed here on and off 4 nights with break in between on trips to Golden Rock and Bagan.
The family hotel is very efficiently run and service is very customer oriented.Early before our trip, I had corresponded with the hotel, and they arranged for us the car trip to visit the Golden rock and the air fares to/ fro Bagan.Everything was done well and we only need to pay up at the end of each trip.
The reception, dining room staff and porters were extremely friendly and helpful throughout , making our stay a very pleasant experience.
The hotel is quiet as it is off the main road but a short 5 mins walk t0 shops and some eateries.

We regretted not knowing this hotel is available prior to our initial booking. Best hotel we stayed when we are in Yangon. This is a family run hotel, very friendly and cosy. The kids enjoyed staying in the hotel. Breakfast spread was limited but the dishes (fried beehoon and fried rice) were good!
