The Monttra Pattaya

A very beautiful spot that does not feel like Pattaya. The trees in the resort made my stay a very special one. It shields us from the heat of March all day. The place is a biodiversity rich, full of beautiful birds, butterflies, flowers and squirrels. It’s a rare gem of Pattaya. You can really relax and enjoy your time. Down some steps, you have a private beach. The whole place is a perfect spot away from Bangkok.

I had a wonderful stay at The Monttra Pattaya. The resort offers a peaceful and private atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a lovely sea view. I also enjoyed the quiet private beach — perfect for relaxing.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was delicious with high-quality selections. Overall, it was a perfect place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended!

The location is really nice but the beach is right next to a yacht club so there is little privacy and a lot of sailing boats in the sea at all times.

The atmosphere is private and very idillic, immersed in nature. But it looks abandoned and lacks the attention and care needed for a hotel in this price range.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but Laos looks like they could do with a renovation.

The breakfast is decent an the staff is courteous and very attentive.

Overall the hotel suffers from an overall lack of premium was and attention to detail that a 5.500thb room a night should require. It’s not a bad hotel but it’s definitively overpriced and you can get better value elsewhere.

- Room is spacious
- Good bath amenities (L'Occitane)
- Breakfast was tasty and had good quality even though it is not a buffet
- Afternoon bites and ice-cream buffet is terrific and unique
- The resort is full of evergreen trees, giving a highly chill and good vibes
- Swimming pool is very iconic and has an opened view to the sea
- Sunset view is stunning
- The seaside bar is also delightful and has precious and relaxing atmosphere
- Staff is hospitable
- As a beach resort, it is very easy to access to the beach, which is calm and relaxing
- Located near a city center which is easy to find a place for dining

Points to notice

- Same as many local resorts, general maintenance both in room or public areas still needs improvement to remain a good condition of the resort (the rain shower in my room did not work)
- Overall cleanliness is good, but can be leveled up, too
- It would be nicer if breakfast can be more various
- As the resort is very close to the nature, insects or venomous are unavoidable (I found a green snake in the bush when walking to a car park)
- Parking lots are quite limited (not sure if there is another place nearby to park)

The staff are very friendly and polite. The services in the facility are excellent and the ambiance is clean and organized. There is beach access but no chairs or umbrellas available so we only stayed for a while. The infinity pool has a great view. The resort is perfect for those that want an aesthetic and more quiet vacation place. Overall it was an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Monttra Pattaya. Staff were very helpful and polite , the location is second to none right on the beach. The free afternoon tea and in room snack were also a great touch making our stay so relaxing and pleasant. Also nearby there are a great variety of restaurants (Oxygen being the best ) to choose from.
We hope to come back soon.

I have to be honest I was a little disappointed with this place. The room feels a bit old. Yes there are some nice touches like a snack and a water.. but the balcony was super dirty. I wouldn’t have sat out there. The breakfast wasn’t bad, but they’re just are not very many options. It seems quite basic.. especially since I had breakfast at another hotel that cost less and it was far better. The overall quality of the room just felt really average.

If you want peace and tranquility — away from the noise and bustling city center — this is the place to be. Waking up to the sound of the waves while sipping coffee in front of your private front porch is just splendid. The breakfast is not bad as well. Preferred the Asian dishes over the Western ones I must say.

It's an amazing hotel with very good staff. Very polite and nice staff. Appreciate them. Even for minor clarifications they were very kind.

Nice laid back hotel to enjoy with family or friends. The ambience was amazing! Had a lot scenic views and enjoyed a lot with my husband and friends. Will highly recommend!

The staying is very enjoyable, I really love the environment here. there are a lot of green plants and near the oean. you can walk directly to oean in 2 minutes. the workers here are very friendly and nice. really recommend very one to choose this hotle.

Excellent property with breathtaking views of sea. Service is super fast. Beautiful cafes are at walking distance. Yatch club is 2 min walking.

Easy to access. Very peaceful resort. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable snacks. Small beach and lovely infinity pool.

This pension was more fantastic than any other accommodation I have ever seen:) It's so enjoyable and kind. I strongly recommend it.

EXCELLENT hotel/resort. Steps away from the beach. It’s very secluded, away from the city/red light area but not far if/when you want to venture that way. Staff are extremely kind and tending. I plan to stay here next time I come back!

The only con was we heard noises possibly from the pipes or animals scratching in the walls in our room which spooked us few times at night lol.

I stay in this resort, good room, very kind people. It is very well and well maintained. It is in South of Pattaya, with 15 minutes bike you can reach the city center.
The room is very well equipped also with the minibar. Only back is the entrance, as you are near a private yacht club first time is not super easy to understand where to enter,
