V-Ocean Palace Hat Yai

The whole hotel is dirty and run down. Don't trust the photos which must have been taken at least 5 years ago.

The rooms aren't exactly clean, especially the bathroom. The walls are filthy and nothing looks like it's been cared for.

The lift is the only realistic way to upper floors unless you want to use the dirtiest, dodgiest set of external stairs I've ever seen. No thank you.

The cherry on the top was when I asked for a recommendation for a good massage (frankly all the places nearby look dodgy) and was told they would send a lady to my room; 400 1 hour spa massage. It was the worst massage experience I've ever had, the woman wanted to charge 700, not 400 as I'd agreed. She was so bad I told her to stop after 15 minutes and between her and the receptionist they tried to charge me 400 for less than 20mins.

Do not trust them. Don't give them your money. Go somewhere else.

Overbook and they change us to their partner hotel, We Resident Hotel which is like 3km from Lee Garden.
They provide 1 return way tuk tuk as compensation. However, it is still inconvenient to us.

This is an excellent budget hotel surrounded by plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room is sizeable, but the bathroom may need some improvements on hygiene. For a short stay (2 nights or less), the hotel is worth the visit. Cheerful staff as well.

Room is not too bad. Bathroom not as clean as on the booking pictures. We stayed one night and it was okay. At least they have a fridge and aircon. Bed is really soft and i dont like that at all. For the price it is okay

Room really dirty to stay with family is not comfortable. Air cond not really working. Toilet don't asking is really bad. Far from everything I mean attraction place you have to used tuk tuk what they call it

The location of this hotel is near to Kim Yong Market and Lee Gardens Plaza. You can reach both place only with no more than 10 mins walk.

Staffs are so nice :)
Room is clean, aircon and water heater are work well.
The price is also reasonable.

It is very nice place to stay. The price is affordable & the room are very comfortable. My room are complete with microwave, kitchenette, kettle, & free instants coffee. My friends & I really enjoy our 1 night stay. The staff also very nice people. They not really understand what we said, but they try to give the best service they can. We happy with that. The only problem during our stay is when we want to check out, the process took a bit too long time as we actually need to catch the morning train to Padang Besar at that time. But its okey, maybe next time we need to check out more early so we no need to rushing,

The hotel lobby seems newly refurbished but not the room. A small balcony but the surrounding smells unpleasantly. The rooms is moderate with cold air cond. No breakfast available although there is a restaurant. No problem as there are lots of eateries around. Not close to train station or bus station. Friendly english speaking staffs.

I book and paid on the day of my check in date. Checked in at around 9pm only to find out that they have overbooked us

Staff are friendly. Room is clean, but balcony is quite dusty and dirty. We had great sleep during the stay.

Will definitely stay this hotel again on my next visit. Friendly and helpful staff. Strategic location! We reached earlier than we expected and they let us check in as early as 9am. Room is clean and comfy. Equipped with hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. Totally recommended!

Good location in tow centre only 550/night.Room is very clean with free 2 bottle of water,coffee ,towel shampoo ,WiFi ,Tv,fridge and Air condition, What els do you need? I’ll comeback and recommend to everyone

Room is very small. Just nice for a queen size bed only. No ventilator in bathroom. Make sure your waste is not smelly or the whole room will stink. Air conditioner is not cold even after service as the compressor keep cutting off even set temperature at 18.

Anything short be ok,near food court,near by 7-11
Near by daina shopping center
Bath room,balcony,also ok...

Room was a bit cramp and tv has no English channel. All in Thai language only.

Hotel facility good and clesn hotel staff very helpful .and friendly hotel area in town.every where have 7 eleven easy for tourist..so many choice food store..specially beside hotel restoren very nise food.spicy sour mix vege pork soup.tuk tuk car everywhere.

overall is GOOD.
