Cosy and cute
Pros:

The location is great, the rooms are cute and picturesque.
The staff were always friendly and accommodating.
Rooms were clean and great aircon.

Cons:

The fact that is no very practical, there should be a warning about the accessibility to the rooms particularly for older people and judging from what I saw, the majority of their guests are elderly people who struggle to go up and down the stairs, so perhaps they should make clear that they don’t have elevators and there are lots of stairs.

Amazing views and staff!!
Pros:

The rooms were great, each offering their own mini split systems. We booked the hot tub room and loved the view, the kitchenette and the feel of the room.

Cons:

I do wish for better lighting in the room, I ended up applying my makeup outside (not a terrible view!) but it was HOT and I was sweaty. I would’ve loved to have been able to do that indoors 🙂

La cocina, tener utensilios para la cocina y refrigerador hicieron que la estancia fuera mejor. Además de que había limpieza cada día. Me gustó que enfrente hay abarrotes para comprar lo necesario.

Cons:

Las fotos que están en la página no corresponden a todos los cuartos. El jacuzzi es exclusivo de solo una habitación, cada habitación tiene su precio. Tenía hormigas todos los días, a pesar de la lumpieza. Solo hay escalones, la alberca abre tarde (9am) ya que a esa hora ya hacía bastante calor. No hay microondas en algunas habitaciones.

Make sure to call the hotel to choose the best room...
Pros:

It was a mixed bag, to be quite honest. The hovel that the management stuck me in for the first four nights was awful. However, after I was upgraded to the room just above the pool, things changed decidedly for the better. The pool is lovely, although it closes a bit early at 7pm most nights... Additionally pleasant is the fact that the hotel is so close to Madera Beach, which is perfect for morning and evening swims.

Cons:

I absolutely thought that the housekeeping staff was malevolent, waking most guests up before 8am with nearly uproarious noise. They should be replaced by Roombas. One can immediately identify a true four-star hotel by how its maid-staff respects its clients' quietude and privacy and Arena is not a four-star hotel. That said, the front desk staff (particularly Gloria) was friendly and accommodating, and the Maderas restaurant waiters (especially Abel) were outstanding -- very amicable and endearing.

My stay at Arena Suites was nothing short of great. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family, but the two things that truly set this place apart are its unbeatable location and the incredible hospitality of the staff.

The hotel is just a few steps away from Playa La Madera and a 10 minute cab drive to Playa La Ropa. We loved being able to wake up and walk to the beach for a morning swim in less than a minute. It's also perfectly situated to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants along the beach and in the neighborhood. While it feels like a peaceful, secluded paradise, it's also just a quick and easy taxi ride or walk along the coast into the heart of El Centro for more shopping and dining. It’s the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience.

Most importantly every single person that works there went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. Their warmth and genuine kindness are the heart of this hotel. From the front desk offering great local recommendations to the housekeeping staff who kept our suite immaculate, everyone greeted us with a smile. They make you feel genuinely cared for, not just like another guest.

Pros:

Todo!! La vista es espectacular! Sobre todo desde el jacuzzi. En realidad es ún hotel muy bueno, costo bueno con excelente ubicación.
