First trip to Santa Monica

I loved the Retro Vibe. The room was small but neat and clean. The location was great, just a short walk to the Pier and promenade

Cons:

No kettle or coffee machine in the room. It was available in the office but the office was not available 24/7. I am a morning coffee person and I didn’t like having to get dressed to walk down to get one. Also one morning I went down at 8am and there was a note on the door stating that the Office would be closed until 9am .. no prior notice given.

Locatie is perfect voor lopende verkenning en ontdekking omgeving zoals Beach en winkelcentra.
'Sobere' maar nette, schone kamers.
Verder géén 'facaliteiten', maar genoeg vertier direct om je heen.
En vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel.

Prijs, maar is LA én direct aan zee, bij de Pier én bij (winkel)centrum.

Just right for our one night stay at the pier. We had a very nice breakfast at Sweet Maple one block away.
Pros:

Close to pier, comfy beds. Very nice staff.Extra room with a door was nice. The water/ice machine by the office was great to fill up our water bottles. Nice to be able to park in a covered space off of the street.

Cons:

One of the light switches in the bedroom with the door didn’t work. Street noise because of location.

Wonderful stay very close to Santa Monica Pier.
Pros:

We had delayed flights from the east coast and arrived after the office had closed: there was an envelope taped to the window, containing clear, secure instructions for how to access our room. The room was not fancy, but comfortable and spacious. An ice machine by the office meant refreshing ice water after a long day. And the front desk staff were amazing in terms of helping us store a pile of suitcases when we explored the nearby Santa Monica Pier. Can't say enough about how great they were with us.
