残念な宿
Pros:

お茶などを用意していたこと。

Cons:

特にスタッフが変わり、笑顔もなくて随分様変わりしたこと。モーニングのスタッフも気がつかない人が多くて、腹が立ちました。スタッフも変わりました。バイキングスタイルは良くないです。ガサガサした感じで、もういきたくない館が有りました。

随分と客層もかわり、ガサガサした感じになり、以前の良さがなくなりました。

焚き火もあんなに寒いのにつけないで、ワインやつまみもなく、疲れた宿に変身してもう暫くいきたくありません。残念ですね。

安いから仕方ないか！
Pros:

朝食は1日目のメインがエッグベネディクト、2日目はオムレツで美味しかったです。ラウンジでコーヒー、紅茶飲み放題が嬉しかったです。

Cons:

部屋は写真と違ってとても古いです。古びた匂いが気になりました。

Our usual choice for our visiting guests.
Pros:

I reserved this hotel for a friend of ours as we ourselves live in Karuizawa. The hotel is actually near our home and we use it quite regularly for friends and family members visiting us. The rooms are of a very good size, clean and overall, the hotel is of good standard with a pleasant atmosphere. It also has an onsen which can be appreciated by some guests.

Cons:

As mentioned before, the garden could be better kept and the big rusty sign board giving on the main road could be repainted. This would make the hotel even more attractive.
