Great atmosphere, food and service. We stayed one night and had dinner at the restaurant which made the whole experience magical. Service was amazing, food incredible and the place is well curated, clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend!
We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay, in this hotel. The interiors and rooms are beautifully curated and the hotel is warm and welcoming, especially after a rather drizzly and muddy, yet invigorating, Cotswold walk!
The ambience was enhanced by a lovely roaring fire and the glow of candlelight.
Above all, the exemplary level of customer service made a lasting impression and is clearly the hotel's signature piece. Daniela, Annie and the team could not do enough for us, to make our stay special and they certainly succeeded, being just about as friendly and helpful as it is possible to be, anticipating our every need, and clearly, genuinely caring about how we were enjoying our stay.
The restaurant was a fitting place for a special birthday meal, with the best scallops I have ever tasted, a fantastic souffle and large portions of succulent beef. In keeping with every single staff member, Scott was an ever attentive host.
We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel, which really has the feeling of a long, luxurious, warm hug and is perfectly located for everything the Cotswolds has to offer!
The extra day car parking, so that we could enjoy our last day, after checking out, without any worries, was very much appreciated.
We will definitely be back!
