Lovely atmosphere the restaurant is very well decorated the food was amazing .Gary is very professional makes you feel special .The room was lovely the bed very comfortable, very clean .Declan on reception ,great personality, good conversation. This our 2nd stay will be returning.
Nice location rooms are good for the price. There was damp in The bathroom however, and staff was not the friendliest perhaps it could’ve been because I was wearing my work uniform but definitely got a judging and unfriendly response from staff shame as the location was perfect for myself and we will have to be looking at other hotels now
We took a one night break and had a wonderful night with Sunday Dinner served in a splendid dining room by attentive staff. All the staff we interacted with were polite and happy to help. The Sunday dinner was priced at £32 for 2 courses and £39 for 3 courses. We had room 317 which was very comfortable and clean and tidy. The self service breakfast options were plentiful and well presented. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre.
I had booked 2 nights away here for my partners 21st birthday. I had arranged with the hotel for there to be big ‘21’ balloons and a banner in the room for when we arrived as a surprise for him. I paid extra for this. Unfortunately when we entered the room there was only 1, tiny balloon saying happy birthday so obviously I was upset by this. I went down to reception and asked to speak to a manager. Immediately a manager came to speak to me, she was very accommodating and apologetic, she upgraded us from a classic double to a deluxe suite, aswell as some vouchers for free drinks, again with multiple apologises from her which was very much appreciated.
We immediately got the key for the new room and it was beautiful! It was cleaned to perfection with an amazing view of the garden! We were so happy with this especially since it was for my partners birthday. The room came with all the amenities you would need and offered room service (obviously with a charge). The entire hotel is clean and decorated really well, unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked but that was our own fault for not booking prior, we would’ve loved to have experienced it but will definitely be coming back.
The one thing I would say, is that they need more disabled parking, from what I saw there was only 3 spaces and they were usually always full so we struggled to park, but apart from that our experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come again! Thanks again to the manager who helped us!
Staff super helpful & friendly. Room ok just needs a refresh & window clean. Breakfast good
Some shades of needing an upkeep (in the bathroom) but otherwise a great place for a few days stay. Good location, with a 10 minute walk to Harrogate, efficient reception staff, and reasonable choice for breakfast (although the vegan choices could have been better on day 2 for us). The bedroom was adequately spacy, with a range of TV channels to choose from if needed. There isnt much by way of facilities (no gym, pool, games room) but a good lounge area to chill out in. Parking was adequate and reasonably priced.
The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. Our room was well presented with plenty of room, a comfortable bed (blackout curtains helped with 2 great nights' sleep!) and clean, functional bathroom. Staff are courteous and helpful. The bar and restaurant are very good - lovely buffet breakfast and the dinner menu very tempting! Plenty of on site parking (maybe a bit expensive at £10 a night but just leave the car there for as long as you stay - you don't need to drive into the town centre) Our view was to the front over The Stray so much better than the car park or other buildings.
We used Cedar Court Harrogate for a family gathering and we loved it , attention to detail, really looked after by Roisin.
Roisin's customer service is of a 5 red star establishment , always attentive, smiling and called every guest by its name which is pretty impressive.
We thank you so much and will see us again!
We arrived late morning and parked our car, paid for our car park stay in reception, then returned later in the day to check in, the room was on the front of the hotel over looking the stray and cedar tree, it was very quiet and we slept well.
The breakfast was excellent, a good choice, lots of tables to sit at band the staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly.
We will return.
The Cedar Court Hotel was in the perfect location and had the right ambience for a Bank Holiday weekend away.
We had a flying visit to Harrogate and on a friends recommendation we booked Cedar Court.
We were not disappointed. From check in to checkout the service was of the highest standard.
We booked afternoon tea as part of our stay, a much cheaper option than the famous Betty’s. The food was delicious. The setting stunning.
Our room was a supreme double on the 2nd floor overlooking the cedar tree. It was lovely and quiet. Very comfortable and stylish decor. Loved the backlit headboard.
The complimentary toiletries were lovely.
Wish we had been able to stay longer.
We have stayed at this hotel on quite a few times, and has most of what we want, I do not agree with the compulsory car paring charge
Very good indeed. Lovely hotel. Great central location. Very professional staff. Decent room and not expensive. Really nice buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Had to pay extra for car parking but this was fine considering the central location. Once our car was parked we went off to explore Harrogate on foot. Would definitely use this hotel again if we were in the area.
Looks like a traditional Harrogate hotel from the outside but inside has been given a marvellous up date / refurbishment. A warm Yorkshire welcome made us feel at home. Our corner room was clean and well equipped with a view over the manicured front gardens.
Food and drink were of the highest quality along with the charming service from the restaurant and bar staff. The dinner menu has great choices. Breakfast is 'Buffet style' but well laid out and with plenty of choice both continental and cooked. Harrogate is a lovely town with lots of independent shops sitting alongside the larger ones - and of course there is always Betty's Tea Rooms to try.
I had the most wonderful stay, thank you to the staff that took care of us x
Nicely modernised and very comfortable hotel about 10 minutes' pleasant walk from centre of Harrogate opposite the Stray. Attractively furnished and decorated public rooms and restaurant. I would recommend it.
Lovely hotel, perfectly placed for a wander into Harrogate and visiting attractions.
Helpful, friendly staff.
Good selection of food and drink.
Very comfy beds and a quiet location make for a great nights sleep.
Superbly positioned on the edge of the Stray at Harrogate, excellent service and a great English breakfast range...
Cedar Court is an excellent hotel, with huge visual impact on arrival. Our room looked out into a large cedar tree that must have gave the hotel its name. Room was clean and had lovely, romantic window seat. Bed was a bit small but Ambers Restaurant has great food and excellent staff service. Unfortunately, parking is no longer free and cost us £10 for one night.
We have been visiting the Cedar Court Hotel for many years and we have noticed the continuous improvements.
The bar area is very pleasant and Amber's is the best restaurant in Harrogate. Lovely food. Our bedroom had also been refurbished to a very high standard.
All staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Please can you say 'thank you' to Harry, a member of the bar staff. He is always very pleasant and friendly. He has excellent customer service skills and is very professional.
