Pros:

Held my 50th birthday celebrations at The Angel Hotel, as has our wedding reception here many years ago. Tia the events manager was helpful and even ordered in specific rums for the occasion. My guests raved about the quality of the food provided, the great bar staff and the overall cleanliness of the Hotel. I highly recommend booking a celebration here, even booking my son's 16th at his request, as he enjoyed the venue .

Cons:

We had the smallest hand wash basin possible
Poor lighting
No room service unless requested had to go to reception to replenish tea coffee milk etc
We no mention of car parking charges on booking but were then informed once we had paid that charges had been introduced on January 1st at £7.50 per day

Comfortable and welcoming hotel with central location in Chippenham.
Pros:

Our room was cozy and we paid extra for breakfast which was tasty and plentiful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a wall mounted magnifying mirror which I find useful these days.

Cons:

The little cartons of milk on our tea tray must have been out of date as they curdled in the coffee I made. I reported to reception that there had been a 'eggy' smell in the bathroom. Also the breakfast plates for the full English were cold. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

All the staff were excellent, courteous and efficient. Great place to stay to see local family. Room was good size and comfy bed.
