Reception poor; staff just didn’t really care.
Arrived 9.10pm after long journey. No food at all available. Advice as to where to eat was very poor

Very nice Hotel, great location, plenty of on site parking but could do with a little more information on how to locate the parking site. Breakfast was really good and the Garden area was very nice.
With the current climate changes Air conditioning should be considered. The room was extremely warm and the fan supplied didn't really have much effect
Town centre location, but wasn’t noisy at night. Large, comfortable rooms. Off-street parking connected to hotel - particularly useful as we had accessibility needs.
Directions to parking were only provided after arrival, would have been easier to go directly there.

The room was quite awkward with low beams, the shower sideways onto the bath wasnt great. Breakfast wasnt the best we have had , coisants were not fresh, very limited choice of fruit. Didnt try the cooked...too hot!

The hotel is located in the city centre, making transport and getting around very convenient. The room is quite spacious, but compared to the hotel’s facilities and comfort level, the weekend price is really a bit expensive!
Appearance with courtyard and old building blended with new felt like being abroad.
Room smelt horrible but aired it and once personal fragrances used, we didn't notice.

Clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Asked for a ground floor room situated close to designated smoking areas due to mobility issues and the room was so perfect I could of literally climbed out the room window into the smoking area

I stayed at the Best Western Angel Hotel in Chippingham on the 27th of June for one night. Upon arrival, a staff member was helpful in giving us initial directions, but her instructions were a bit confusing, and she didn’t smile much, which made it awkward to ask for clarification. After parking, we had to wheel our suitcases about 20-30 yards through the garden area to reception and once inside, there were a couple of steps, so we had to lift them then all the way back then to our room. The room was on the ground floor and, while okay, it was quite dated. The windows could open wide with no safety locks, so we felt a bit unsafe. There was no air conditioning, just a fan which made a clicking noise when it turned, so at night we had to keep the fan locked on still (no rotating) it was a very hot day. In the morning, after I showered, my cousin was mid-shower when the water pressure dropped completely—she couldn’t rinse out her conditioner. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown, especially given the heat and basic safety expectations.
