Could be a lot better.
Pros:

Close to the main town. 10 mins from train station.

Cons:

Extra hidden charges that they tell you about when you check out. Charged us extra for breakfast, which we paid £9 for originally but they wanted us to pay extra when we checked out.

Rooms very hot with no windows that opened and no thermostat.

Mattress was very old with blown springs.

Good value and good location. Additional facilities were very welcome.
Pros:

This was a central town hotel experience for the price of a budget hotel. The pool and gym facilities were a little dated but clean and very welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was of a good quality and plentiful. The situation of this hotel is fantastic and I have the highest praise for the nearby Italian restaurant La Vecchia Orsa on the square which was truly excellent.

Cons:

It is true that some parts were a little tired but the place was very clean.
