Pros:

Lovely, clean hotel in a great location. Rooms had everything I needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The pipes in the room were a bit noisy, however this did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay.

Pros:

The room was massive! Really clean and the hotel itself was very well located

Cons:

I really missed room service but that’s not on them it’s just a consideration after a long day and even though there was a restaurant downstairs it was very quiet

Pros:

Location is perfect for my purpose - visiting friends and family and staying in a local area close to but not in the city centre. Rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Cons:

Can take time to adjust temperature of radiators, especially in bathroom, but it worked fine in the end.

Pros:

Perfect location. Easy access/parking. Staff extremely helpful.

Cons:

The rooms/bathroom probably need a bit of a makeover but understand that is about to happen.

A charming hotel with an excellent location and a team that makes you feel truly welcome.
Pros:

Beautiful, cosy and spotlessly clean room with many thoughtful touches. The location is fantastic, next to lovely parks and within a pleasant walking distance of the city centre. The staff were consistently warm, professional and very helpful, especially with early check-in and storing our luggage on departure day. We chose to explore local cafés each morning, so we did not use the hotel breakfast.

Cons:

Everything met our expectations. As a small suggestion, it would be nice to have more visible information or recommendations about Edinburgh and nearby attractions. A couple of extra hooks in the bathroom for towels would also be practical.

Pros:

Location, well kept. Clean and nicely furnished.

Cons:

Additional parking fee wasn’t obvious at time of booking - however the staff were very good with letting me leave the car there for almost 24 hours - that considered this isn’t really a negative!

Lovely hotel! Very recommended.
Pros:

We got an upgrade for a bigger room, which was a pleasant and wonderful surprise. The hotel and room were super comfy and we had a lovely time. The breakfast also was really good with lots of options from the buffet and menu.

Cons:

Unfortunately, it was not possible to open the windows in our room, therefore it was quite stuffy, but not terrible. We notified the reception on our last night. They tried to open but realized that for some reason it was impossible.
