Great overnight stay that didn’t break the bank.
Pros:

Was situated with an easy reach and had a lot of facilities around it.
The staff we encountered were super friendly, very professional and welcoming.
Dog charge very reasonable.
Didn’t use any of the facilities available.
Plenty of eateries nearby.

The hotel was clean the staff extremely attentive and polite but the Hotel is very dated and could benefit from an updat

Was located near to an event we were attending so was ideally located for us.

Cons:

The room we were allocated was right near to the dual carriageway so the traffic noise was constant even throughout the night

Disappointing. Would not recommend

Honestly, cant think of anything i liked. Maybe i could say it wasn’t too busy….. which tells its own story

Cons:

Breakfast room was smelly, and in fact you could smell frying in the lobby. Breakfast was just like what other hotels served back in the 80s and 90s. It’s now 2026 and people want healthier food options.
Also breakfast finished at 9.30 which was too early
Bar menu was uninspired. Couldn’t face the restaurant.= after eating breakfast in that room.
Despite putting the card on my door requesting my room be made up, it wasn’t made up on two consecutive days.
The whole place was run like there is no manager.

For a best western plus and the money we paid we are very disappointed

Restaurant and staff pleasant

Plenty of parking spaces

No leisure facilities
Was not made aware of this found out by looking at reviews
Big sign outside hotel saying leisure facilities will be open early 2026
They should remove it
No working lift was told Monday it would be fixed Tuesday, left Friday still broken
We found it difficult to going up and down to the second floor
Room not cleaned very well at all
Soiled towel left in the bath that was not ours
Had to ask for the bed to be made

Pros:

We've stayed many times and always found the hotel very good.

Cons:

The bathroom needs refurnishment,a bit tatty.
7 of us booked a meal,one of our party was left to eat his meal on his own as his meal had been forgotten. He was however given it for free as compensation.

Pros:

Location is great for show access and for the services and restaurants beside it . Was initially good value . Really comfortable beds .

Cons:

First thing we were confronted with , lifts not working , fine we can get over that . Next thing swimming pool under repair ,The very reason why we booked this hotel. Wish we had have got a email cause I would have changed hotel for this very reason . And then finally no staff to clean our rooms just a letter through the door . I expected some sort of partial refund but that didn’t happen on checkout !

Decor slightly dated but kept to good condition with no obvious damage. Room 122

Generally clean and comfortable room
Bathroom bright and clean with nice size mirror
Usual range of tea/coffee with kettle in room
Clean towels
Free WiFi with good signal in all areas
Comfortable king size bed
Blackout curtains in bedroom
Usual self service buffet breakfast with range of cooked food
Nice to have lights around dressing table to assist with make up, etc
Free car parking (have to give car reg to reception)

Cons:

Frustratingly unable to work out how to operate the heating in the room (seems to blow only cold air). Room 122

Tissue holder in bathroom empty
Curtain missing rings such that it hangs down (which I repaired using curtain ring found hanging from net curtain wire)
Shower head obviously not designed for a woman who doesn't want to get her hair wet
No electrical sockets nearby bed to charge mobile phone

Pros:

Although spa and pool are being renovated gym refurbished and open .Hotel is lovely ,staff friendly and couldn't do enough. Great night's sleep really comfy bed .Breakfast really good .Free parking .Overall a great stay .Thank you .
