Popped to the Aberavon Beach Hotel on the way home from a trip and what a treat. First class Sunday lunch and excellent Service. The manager Sheldon was very professional and obviously knows what he is doing. Great value in current times at £17.95 for 2 courses. Will definitely be going back even though we live in Swansea
Location
Was bit cold but staff brought a heater do it was then great .
Nice family hotel close to beach n Park...easy access to hotel from beach etc. We love staying here
No pool anymore and breakfast is too early and a bit pricey
Very neat and tidy.
Nothing
Friendly,comfortable
Rooms not serviced ,daily.
Only minimal toiletries / coffee on arrival, have to ask for more.
Location, view, clean and comfortable
Very warm in room - we had to turn use the fans even in April despite having windows open.
The internal refurbishment of the public areas is lovely and very well done - the chairs and sofas in the bar were really comfy, as was the bed. Once inside the building, it was a great experience.
Good size car park, easy to register the car as a guest. Loved the free drink for reusuing our towels
The outside of the building is very scruffy, dated and looks almost derelict. The bedroom window was a bit iffy, and the wind blowing through the corridors and under our room door caused the bathroom door to fly open several times.
A larger selection of draft lagers would be welcomed, may include Cruzcapo or Kronenberg as currently very popular
Perfect location, looked out the window and could see the sea, friendly staff and good breakfast
Everything was OK
We were celebrating our granddaughters 9th birthday and the receptionist went and got chocolate to give her .
Asked for a pink gin and I was given bramble gin without being told and it was horrible went to change it and was given raspberry.
Went to run a bath and it took ages for the water to get hot
Friendly staff.
Bed needed a new mattress.
Of the 8 times the shower was used, it was cold 6 times.
Clean, spacious and comfortable
Public toilets, especially hand dryer in ladies
It was such a great room with a view of the sea,
The reason we booked in the first place was to have a night away by the sea
