Warm and Welome upon entering! The property is surrounded by beauty! The rooms were cozy and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was great. I can't say enough nice things about this place! And, it's dog-friendly! I would love to return, one day!

Pros:

Car park available, terrace, breakfast.

Cons:

Very poor location – right next to the motorway. The rooms clearly need refurbishing. The shower needs replacing. Noise from the motorway, noise from a generator outside the window. The towels in the bathroom were wet, left behind by previous guests. I rarely write reviews like this, but this isn’t the standard I expected for that price...

We love Callahan's Mountain Lodge and are glad we booked our first stay a few years ago....
Pros:

We continue time and again to choose to stay at Callahan's Mountain Lodge on our trips to Oregon Coast and PNW.
Staff are always welcoming, helpful and a joy to interact with. Thank you Jax and our servers and bar staff in the restaurant. Whoever makes those delicious breakfast breads and energy bars is a gem. Jack is awesome as our breakfast host. We love the candles glowing and the property and spectacular patio are beautiful. We feel like we are in a very special vacation spot each time and are grateful to share it with our doggie Jackson!

We love Callahans! Always happy when we get a chance to stay here!
Pros:

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Room is great - a fireplace AND a jacuzzi tub! Dinner and drinks were lovely. The room had a nice balcony with a view of the woods. A breakfast buffet was included. Scrambled eggs were excellent - nicely spiced, not overcooked.

Comfortable stay with unique features including in-room fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs.
Pros:

The breakfast is much improved from previous stays. They have microwavable quiche which is good, as well as waffles, scrambled eggs and potatoes. The pastries and fruit selections could be better.
The property is unique with fireplaces and in-room jacuzzi tubs. They also have a restaurant which is nice especially after a long drive.
They are pet friendly. My dog enjoyed the grounds.

The restaurant food was very average.

Great location right off I-5, yet feels secluded in the forest on the south side of Ashland. Beds were so comfortable after a long day’s drive.

Exceeded our expectations with great food and staff!
Pros:

The lodge exceeded our location. The rooms were large and the location to trails in the area (short drives) was great. The staff were excellent and made we had a great stay. And the restaurant had great food—we were expecting typical pub or lodge food, but their Italian pastas were excellent. Highly Recommend!

Cons:

It is close to I-5 so you hear some road noise. But Callahan’s has created a sanctuary on their property that helps you not notice it.

My only complaint is that I didn't stay longer.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, amazing room and fantastic food! I only stayed overnight but would love to come back to spend a romantic weekend here with my wife!

We have stayed several times and have hit and misses but overall it's beautiful

I liked the location it was beautiful

Cons:

The 18% gratuity to eat in our room because we had our dog and didn't want to leave them in room to go down to restaurant seemed a bit much and took away from what I would have left in room for housekeeping and staff. Also there was an insane humming in wall like water heater was right by our heads.
