Worst experience ever at this location! Sad.
Pros:

The staff is friendly, the food is good. Sean in the bar and dining was fantastic!

Cons:

We were in room 13. Beneath the dining room. Unacceptable noise levels. The young man on the front desk was unapologetic saying he had heard that before. Our card key envelope was labeled with a different room number that had been changed without explanation. We have stayed here multiple times, been very happy. This was the worst ever! The room should be converted to storage and never used again for guests. Additionally, house keeping left food in the freezer. Overall, not a good experience!

Would stay again!! But will let them know about this one.
Pros:

The beautiful historic hotel, ground, and location

Cons:

We were on the ground floor, which was nice but it was NOISY, I think they put us in one of the worse rooms perhaps near the kitchen or laundry room. There was foot traffic above all night.

This is an annual trip for us farther north so we're more than likely to stay again.
Pros:

Loved the easy chaors on the room. Very comfortable!

Cons:

Not much left of the main breakfast dishes when we went to eat at around 8:45 a.m.

Pros:

The location of the Lodge was beautiful..beds were comfortable

Cons:

The service at dinner was terrible.. we got our food way before our drinks.. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and it was put together sloppy..I had a hard time getting the waitress to come back so we could cash out..we were on the first floor and it smelled like sewage

Great little spot, will be back when I pass through Ashland again!
Pros:

Great little stay, the fire place and the in room hot tub mixed with the woods aesthetic was quite a vibe. I also like how each room has its own tree designation( mine was bristle cone pine).

Wonderful Staycation/Vacation spot!
Pros:

I have been enjoying Callahan's as a staycation for the past decade. They have always had a wonderful staff, the rooms are cozy & comfortable.

Cons:

Not all rooms have fire places. Boo!

I was so disappointed booking. Com never put my reservation through to the hotel. Drove from Los Angeles for nothing. So horrible

What a treat.The food and staff were fantastic! I loved the balcony.we sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine!
Pros:

Beautiful! The grounds are well kept. The restaurant had great food and we even had live music.

Pros:

The location and staff were wonderful. We stayed in the jacuzzi room which was excellent to soak in after a long trip/drive! The staff were friendly and amenable to a later check-in. The room was clean, the place is quiet. If you're bringing stuff in your car you don't need to unpack your car, it's a very secure area!

Cons:

Breakfast was a pretty average diy breakfast, but did the job for us.

Great value. Great location.
Pros:

We had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are worn in but comfortable.

Cons:

Our only complaint would be that we had staff enter our locked room with their master keys when we were there… twice. They were very apologetic.
