The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location. The staff were helpful, and overall it offered very good value for money.

Nothing major. The facilities were fairly simple, but everything worked well for a short stay.

アクセスが、良かった！

Cons:

朝食は15-20分並んで入ったが、他施設と比べると食べるもの(種類、残量含め)が少なく、補充もされていないものも多く、すこし残念だった

A stylish, convenient, affordable stay
Pros:

I like ibis Styles Kyoto Shijo because it's affordable, the location is terrific, and it's super affordable. The rooms are small, but also clean and comfortable. And I liked the general vibe of the place. I don't tend to spend much time at the hotel when I'm in Kyoto, so this suited me. It was a little trickier for my yoga practicing partner.

I liked having so many attractions close-by, as well as the subway, Randen Line, and Kyoto Station. And the Fresco grocery, FamilyMart, and MOS Burger were food great options.

Cons:

While most of the service I received was really good, some of the staff could have been friendlier. In fact, it really pleasant was back in 2019 when it was a Hotel Unizo.
