Breakfast was fine. Location was excellent.
No lift and had to carry cases upstairs this could be an issue with disabilities. although it was extra warm/hot the property itself especially upstairs was very uncomfortable with the heat due to lack of any calling except a fan which just pushed the hot air around the room. Temperature was 29-30°. The bathroom temperature was 34° and the fan in the bathroom what the smallest I have ever seen. Also, the staffing wasn’t adequate for the people that just dropped in also to have meals, et cetera.
Breakfast was great but we were disappointed with the evening meal this visit

We found the staff really friendly and the hotel had taken note of our request sent with the booking. The room was well equipped very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were freshly prepared and good quality.
Its a tricky place to find on your first visit that could be fixed by a bigger clear sign on the entrance road.

Beautifully kept hotel in a prime location with a great terrace overlooking the river and boats attempting to navigate the low bridge. Excellent choices for the cold buffet breakfast and hot food cooked to order. Very smart spacious lounge, bar and restaurant with friendly and helpful staff.
We only had a few minor issues which didn't detract from our stay at all. Difficult to find free parking spot due to our late arrival, the bedding was too thick for us considering the time of year and the lack of air conditioning in the property. Unfortunately our late booking meant we had a standard double at a quite expensive price near to some kind of noisy ventilation system.
Clean, modern facilities. Comfortable bed, decent shower. Elemis products a welcome quality touch as was the well stocked tea tray. Polite friendly staff, good variety of breakfast items, excellent cooked breakfast with quality produce.

Just about everything
Not really the hotels fault but the room temperature was quite unbearable at times. Exceptional temperatures at the moment, no aircon which is probably required most summers with a flat roof.
Location is perfect right on the river bank and ideal for a lazy afternoon watching the boats go by. The hotel was clean, the rooms were lovely and the staff were polite and vey helpful. The bar and restaurant is very nice overlooking the river and the food and drinks were exceptional and worth the bit extra you pay for them. Parking is free and on site so overall a great hotel.
Only couple of negatives are no air con in the rooms which in the recent hot weather became very hot, but we shouldn’t really complain about the sunny weather and a fan was provided so does help. Also no lift which although didn’t bother me, was a bit of a struggle for our 86 year mum at times. Aside from this it was a lovely stay.
Location, room, food all exceptional. Good value for money too.
Car park area seemed a little sketchy, behind a supermarket
Breakfast was very good. Eggs cooked perfectly and food was delicious. Location on the water was a very pleasant bonus. Room, although small, was perfectly clean and comfortable for a single person and equipped with everything I needed.
I found that as a woman dining alone on a Saturday night it was difficult to get service, probably more noticeable because I was on my own with no one to fill the gap with conversation.

Room was very uncomfortable until 9.30pm when we got it cooled down.
We booked this with a balcony for my wife's 80th birthday thinking that we could sit outside--80 year olds could not climb up on to those awful high chairs.
Fan should have been put on prior to our arrival and the curtains closed.
Great location and lovely to have a balcony room to watch the world go by
Hot heating came on during the night when it was already 30 degrees outside
