It was a good location

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice but room was dirty .
Hairs on the floor in the bathroom and shower, broken floor tiles in the bathroom that rock when you step on them or could cut your foot because they’re uneven , stains on the bathroom walls , dirt on the floor next to the toilet , the refrigerator looked like it hasn’t been wiped down since it was installed , two inch gap under the door to the hall . Floor in the entry had dirt marks . No body wash or conditioner in the shower , it’s not the bottle was empty , there were no bottles . I was in a room with two queen beds, by myself , but there was only one chair in the room? For a suit with a Kitchenette and only one desk chair to sit in , if I had more than just me it kind of defeats the purpose of a this type of hotel. The only good thing was no roaches , that I saw, but after seeing the housekeeping in the room , I didn’t dare touch the breakfast

There were several positive aspects of my stay, alongside a few areas that ultimately left me disappointed. My initial impressions were strong; the check-in staff were welcoming, the lobby was attractive, and the room appeared well-appointed at first glance. I selected this hotel based on its TripAdvisor rating, so I had high expectations going in.

The room itself had many features I appreciated, including the spacious layout, full-size dishwasher, larger refrigerator, comfortable bed, and sofa. However, upon spending more time in the room, it became clear that the overall upkeep and cleanliness did not align with those initial impressions. For example, the bedside lampshade was noticeably torn in several places, and the stainless-steel appliance fronts showed visible stains that would benefit from more thorough cleaning.

The bathroom was where these concerns were most apparent. While glass shower doors are increasingly common, they require consistent and detailed maintenance. In this case, the doors, tracks, and edges appeared difficult to keep adequately clean. Additionally, the caulking around the shower looked to have been repaired multiple times, but in a manner that suggested rushed or subpar workmanship. Most concerning was the toilet area. Although the bowl and seat appeared clean, I later noticed a reflection in the mirror that revealed a dark ring of mold along the underside of the toilet rim. This appeared to be a long-standing issue rather than something that developed overnight.

I was also disappointed by the lack of sound insulation between rooms, as I could clearly hear quiet conversations and coughing from neighboring rooms. While this is not something easily corrected after construction, it did impact the overall comfort of the stay.

On a positive note, the breakfast area was well-staffed and offered a good variety of options, which I appreciated. It’s possible that my expectations as a one-night business traveler did not fully align with the hotel’s design, as it seems better suited for longer, extended stays.

Ultimately, while there were elements of the experience I valued, the cleanliness and maintenance issues overshadowed them and left me hesitant to choose this particular brand again under the Hilton umbrella.

Had to extend my stay unexpectedly Courtney took care of everything gave me a late check out so we get accommodate what was going on at the hospital.

Good breakfast layout, nice area with foods nearby

Room was clean, nice size, lots of space for luggage. Breakfast was great too.

Superb service, hospitality, great sleeping, beautiful rooms, largest handicap hotel room ever been in.
We will certainly book here when coming to Tallahassee
