Disappointing cleanliness and maintenance — needs attention
Pros:

I wanted to leave an honest and balanced review of my recent stay. While the hotel has potential, the overall experience was let down by a noticeable lack of deep cleaning and routine maintenance.

Upon arrival, the first impression was unfortunately a bit wearing—the rug at the front entryway was visibly filthy, unvacuumed, and quite soiled. This lack of attention to detail carried over into the room itself. While it was marginally clean on the surface (sheets and counters seemed fine), the floors clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, which ultimately gave the space an unsanitary feeling.

Furthermore, general maintenance feels poorly attended to throughout the property. It just doesn't feel like the upkeep is being managed with any real care.
I don't like to leave negative feedback, but I hope management takes this as constructive input. The property simply needs a much stronger focus on basic cleanliness and everyday maintenance to make it a comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Good location / Quiet night
Cons: Entryway, lobby and room cleanliness, neglected maintenance. Front desk staff were not especially friendly and didn’t go out of their way to make me feel welcomed or appreciated.

My day was good
Pros:

The property was clean. Staff was friendly. Everything was good. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like about the property it was the pillows and the bed. The bed was horrible, and the pillows were horrible.

Everything was satisfying except kids running over our heads for the price we paid for our stay.
Pros:

We enjoyed the kitchen, and the beds were comfortable, and the setup was good.

Cons:

We never want to be put below children. We had to turn the TV music on to drown out the noise from kids running on the floor. So it was hard to get some rest. We came to get away from noisy kids from home.

Leadership follow up, employee had no critical thinking. Elevators broken ( put a sign) don't tell people to take the stairs. Coffee is broken, go to Dunkin' and get servers of those big coffee containers to have on hand. People like coffee don't make them wait until you can have it ready. Oh and there was a small roach in my room please get the bug man to spray before they have babies.

Never ever will I stay at any Home2 and I travel a lot. I should get a reund for both rooms. Or at least half back. Also

Checked in had 2 rooms. No Soap in shower told they ran out and gave us a small bar. Not acceptable. When we went into our room 416 we had no lights on kitchen area nor by closet. Next day told mgr and she said “did you push Main switch.” Well who would know to do that unless they said to. Also beds are awful . The PRICE was Gauged due to FSU graduation. Insane I paid over 2,000.00 for 2 rooms. That’s gauging not regular pricing. We heard a women highly complain that she couldn’t get any response for her problems and staff laughed at her.

Hotel is WELL worn. Carpet in room was dirty and dingy. Hair in bath tub/shower and on toilet. Floor dirty in bath. Tiles broken in elevator. Staff non responsive.
