Breakfast was very good
The room stay. We had people above us with kids that jumped all night. Couldn't get any sleep
Location to FSU Campus.
Nothing. Everything was great.
Not really clean, hallways hot, bathroom moldy
Close to FSU while attending orientation
AC went out in my room in the middle of the night on my second night. The breakfast was just ok. The sauseges were cold and the croissant sandwiches were soggy. The coffee had run out the first morning within 30 minutes of breakfast opening.
We stayed for one quick night during a family road trip with a stop in Tallahassee. I booked with reward points because I'm a frequent business traveler and usually have good experiences with Hilton properties. We requested adjoining rooms when we booked because of our 2 teenage children who were traveling with us. We were not told until checking in at 7:00 p.m. that the request could not be accommodated -- when it was too late to cancel or go get another hotel. Not only were the rooms not adjoining, they were more than 20 rooms apart and on opposite sides of the building. I felt nervous allowing my kids to stay so far from us and called the front desk to see if there were any closer options. The front desk clerk said they were completely sold out and he would have the manager contact us and at least refund some of the points I redeemed for the reservation, but the manager never reached out.
The rooms themselves were just ok and in need of an update. The floor and appliances were all "cleaned" with something filmy and waxy so they did not feel or look clean. Housekeeping seems inattentive: there was a wad of hair on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived and stains on one of the bed sheets. Both beds in our room were creaky and had almost no support. If we had been planning to stay more than one night or had arrived earlier in the day we absolutely would've asked for a refund and found a different hotel. As it was, we just toughed it out. Breakfast options were minimal and disappointing, we opted to leave earlier to buy breakfast nearby instead. If they had given us the adjoining rooms, or if the manager had called to apologize and at least give us some points back, I would've given this hotel 3 or 4 stars overall - but the lack of customer service was frustrating.
Not much
Dirty, not clean, elevators smelled like pee, breakfast was awful and messy, not much fresh food, night clerk terrible checking in, room had mold in the caulking in bathroom, shower head coming out of wall, tub plug not working, ac not cold, appliances dirty, room carpet dirty, dogs barking in hallway most of the night, parking fee unannounced. Overpriced, definitely not a Hilton standards.
Size of room, large refrigerator, location, inexpensive, cheap parking
Room was huge! Pillows were terrible. Bath tub was gross. Fire alarm went off twice after midnight. Phone in room didn’t work. And, a herd of elephants were staying above us!!!
Carpet soo dirty you get mud on your feet I’m surprised they donot clean the rooms
very convenient easy to get around
there was no pancake mix there was no milk or juice for the kids
Location, staff, room layouts
It is a little run-down, walls are thin.
I wanted to leave an honest and balanced review of my recent stay. While the hotel has potential, the overall experience was let down by a noticeable lack of deep cleaning and routine maintenance.
Upon arrival, the first impression was unfortunately a bit wearing—the rug at the front entryway was visibly filthy, unvacuumed, and quite soiled. This lack of attention to detail carried over into the room itself. While it was marginally clean on the surface (sheets and counters seemed fine), the floors clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, which ultimately gave the space an unsanitary feeling.
Furthermore, general maintenance feels poorly attended to throughout the property. It just doesn't feel like the upkeep is being managed with any real care.
I don't like to leave negative feedback, but I hope management takes this as constructive input. The property simply needs a much stronger focus on basic cleanliness and everyday maintenance to make it a comfortable place to stay.
Pros: Good location / Quiet night
Cons: Entryway, lobby and room cleanliness, neglected maintenance. Front desk staff were not especially friendly and didn’t go out of their way to make me feel welcomed or appreciated.
Clean, nice, comfortable, near restaurants. Staff very nice.
I liked everything for a night stay
We enjoyed the kitchen, and the beds were comfortable, and the setup was good.
We never want to be put below children. We had to turn the TV music on to drown out the noise from kids running on the floor. So it was hard to get some rest. We came to get away from noisy kids from home.
The property was clean. Staff was friendly. Everything was good. Breakfast was good.
The only thing I didn’t like about the property it was the pillows and the bed. The bed was horrible, and the pillows were horrible.
Location
Woke up first morning ants were in a cup on counter, second night air quit needed batteries in thermostat and a cockroach was on the wall.
