Location was perfect.
I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay in Cayenne, which was booked through your platform, and to request that this matter be reviewed urgently.
Upon my arrival at the originally booked hotel, I was informed that I had no reservation. Thankfully, I had my Booking.com confirmation email as proof, without which I would have been left without accommodation. Despite this, I was not accommodated at the property I had booked and was instead redirected to their sister hotel, the Amazonia Hotel – Ibis Styles Cayenne Centre Amazonia.
Unfortunately, the issues continued. Upon entering the first room at the Amazonia Hotel, a large cockroach emerged and crawled across the room. I immediately contacted the front desk; a staff member attended and killed the insect. Given the situation, I requested to be relocated, which was granted.
On the second day of my stay, the toilet in the new room stopped working. I was once again required to relocate to another room. After moving, it was discovered that the toilet in this third room was also not functioning. As it was a public holiday, no technical staff were available to address the issue. As a result, I was forced to use a garbage bin from the bedroom to carry water from the shower to flush the toilet. This situation was deeply uncomfortable, unsanitary, and entirely unacceptable.
Despite these repeated disruptions, the lack of basic amenities, and the significant inconvenience caused throughout my stay, I was offered no refund or compensation upon checkout.
I chose this accommodation in good faith based on the reservation confirmed through Booking.com, and the experience fell far below reasonable standards of hospitality, hygiene, and service. I am therefore requesting that Booking.com investigate this matter and advise on appropriate compensation or a refund in light of the circumstances described above.

Présence d’un savon déjà usé dans la salle de bain.
Et manque de réactivité du personnel pour un service 4 étoiles .
Nous avons appeler deux fois pour avoir un fer à repasser. Au deuxième appel , personnel à informer qu’il fallait venir chercher si c’était urgent …
Sejour confortable et tres bonne salle de sport.
Internet WIFI fonctionnait très mal donc j'ai du me connecter au réseau de mon portable.
Prix très cher comparé à la qualité de l'etablissement

1. Manque de respect des réservations : les chambres que j’avais réservées n’étaient pas disponibles et personne ne m’a prévenu, pourtant j’avais réservé une semaine à l’avance.
2. Nonchalance du personnel : il y avait une fête jusqu’à minuit et les résidents n’étaient pas informés, ce qui a rendu le séjour bruyant et non reposant.
3. Problèmes techniques et service inadéquat : l’évacuation des douches était hors service, ce qui nous a obligés à déménager nos affaires déjà déballées. La réception demandait de descendre pour signaler le problème, ce qui reflète un manque de amabilité.
4. Absence de réponse du management : mes emails au manager sont restés sans réponse, ce qui témoigne d’un manque de sérieux et de responsabilité.
