The hotel was busy but didn’t affect our sleep as we understood this is a perfect group booking hotel.

Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool. The location is brilliant, making it really easy to get around and explore the city.

The hotel itself has so much character, with the themed rooms being a particular highlight. They really add something special to the whole experience and make the stay feel different from your typical hotel.

A special mention has to go to Molly, who was absolutely fantastic. I had an issue during my stay and she went above and beyond to resolve it, dealing with everything straight away and making sure it was sorted. She was incredibly kind, helpful and professional throughout.

Molly is a real credit to the team and an absolute asset to the hotel. Staff members like her really do make a difference to the overall experience.

We’d definitely stay at The Shankly Hotel again and would happily recommend it to others.

Great for groups but rooms need a shower and an overall upgrade
Pros:

The reception and bar area are perfectly nice. The location is great. helpful check in staff who actually had personality and made us feel v welcome

Cons:

The room was tired and have no shower which is a bit weird! having a jet tub for 5 girls is not really that practical especially when you're all trying to get ready for a day/ night out etc. we had an issue with the cards to access the room and the staff had to accompany us to our room to re-set etc. the lamps were also a but dodgy. The electrics need to be checked. the windows could also be a bit more sound proofed. We were all woken by the bin lorry at 6am!
