For me location is the best. Other things are average, value for meoney.
Pros:

The best point is the location here. As I am working at the University of Salford, there are no other hotels closer to the university.

Cons:

But the hotel is very dirty. Carpet does not give the feeling of cleanliness. The toilet wall and bed covers do not seem clean. An electric heater is another problem. If you cannot adjust the heating properly, your sleep can be disturbed in the middle of the night. There is no central heating. Plus, the last room (213) I stayed in had pictures of people that disturbed my prayers. For muslims, no animal or human pictures should be in the room. Moreover, a central freezer and microwave can help to store and heat our own food.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, the place is very close to places I had visited for

Some of the other visitors were clearly smoking all sorts of things during my stay, which made the smell in the place unbearable sometimes

I booked this hotel solely because I required this location. The staff were very courteous and attentive.

Location was close to salford university

Cons:

It was dirty and run down. The first room had no remote so the guy at reception moved me to the room next door which was just as dirty and disappointing as the first. Dirty walls skirting and corners black. I didn't want to delve too much into the beds. But I sat there on the bed contemplating what I could catch from it and decided i had to leave. I sat on the bed and read the reviews which I should have done before booking. Complaining did not get anyone their money back. So I stayed elsewhere. I was supposed to stay 5 nights but I returned on the 4th day to check out my room key. I figured if I cant get a refund at least they cant rent it to someone else. Reception stank of weed on my arrival and departure.

Filthy rooms with stains and damage everywhere

Rooms did not feel clean, floor and walls had all kinds of stains, furniture damaged, holes in the wall, mirror fell on the floor.
