Views are very nice but as soon as Sunday rolled around wait staff got lazy and service dipped? I was the only one at rooftop terrace restaurant and I couldn't get my waiter to come over and see if I needed anything else? He didn't get a tip and I was very pissed off!
Fantastic!
Amazing trip 🙌
Good service and wonderful location
They put us in a room that was under construction and was terribly noisy and unable to sleep during the day at all,
They tried moving us to a different room which was small and dirty and they're not at all what we paid for!
Amazing staff, looking forward to coming again.
Here’s a **condensed version under 1500 characters** that keeps the sharp tone and frustration intact:
---
This stay was a huge disappointment, made worse by an unaccommodating and dismissive GM who clearly knew about ongoing AC problems. From day one, the AC in my Luxury Suite kept shutting off, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable. Halfway through my stay, it failed completely. Maintenance couldn’t fix it, so I was moved next door for the night, with promises it would be repaired by morning. It wasn’t.
When I asked for a second key—since my friend and I were stuck between two rooms—I was told the GM refused. When I spoke with him, instead of showing concern, he interrogated me as though I was doing something dishonest. Insulting doesn’t begin to describe it.
When a real HVAC tech finally arrived, he admitted the resort already knew the unit had a leak and that management simply “tops it off” with freon instead of fixing it. He even guaranteed it would fail again. Yet the GM lied to my face, claiming the room hadn’t had an issue in months. His “solution” was to downgrade me to a much smaller Jr. Suite and act like it was a favor. When I asked for fair accommodation, he dismissed me and offered a laughable \$50 bar credit for four nights. To top it off, we were forced to move our own luggage without any help.
In total, I lost nearly six hours of vacation to this fiasco. I was lied to, treated with suspicion, and insulted with a token gesture instead of fair treatment.
Everything was perfect
Food 7/10 bed 9/10 . Amenities from Expedia as a platinum member I get a bottle of champagne but I always arrive to my room and I have to ask for it for several times .
Loved this property. The staff was very welcoming and rooms were clean. Loved both the pools and and the rooftop bar.
The facilities are nice. The pools close at 7pm and 8 pm. The staff seems to tolerate more than welcome gay people. They attempt to close the facilities earlier than the posted closing time for things you have paid to use. Better to stay somewhere more welcoming
Beds are comfortable, room service food was okay
The hotel was beautiful. Very clean property, and rooms were excellent as well. Very comfortable beds were appreciated. Very friendly staff in every area of the hotel. We will definitely be back!
If you want to take a nap or sleep on the earlier side don’t stay here. Music is thumping till midnight. Pool side dining was good but food at the top was not. Staff very friendly and pretty resort.
3rd time staying at Walmart, it's the only hotel my wife and I stay at when we're in PV. Staff is nice and accommodating. The food is great, and the drinks. The Drag Show is a lot of fun.
Perfect for your stay in PV, comfortable and welcoming. The view is spectacular
This hotel is pretty awesome! It was our first trip to Mexico, so unsure what to expect. The resort fee was a surprise. NO NEED to book the "VIP" service for transport to and from the hotel - this is FAR overpriced, and it's literally the hotel booking you an UBER in a beaten down car (VIP??). Order your own UBER when you get there - it was easy! DO NOT STOP on your way out of the airport - you'll be caught into more sales pitches that seem authentic until you catch on! The beach club, pool and hotel restaurants were perfection. Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and seemed authentic in wishing you a good time. House keeping was prompt and very good. We fell into the trap of the timeshare speech - BIG MISTAKE! Out of the whole experience, the guy trying to hard sell us a time share we didn't want really caused a damper on the beginning of the trip - he was kind as can be until we said no, then he got pretty nasty - really hurt the good feel of what all the other staff had created and caused some ill feelings towards the hotel. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS, unless you want to purchase. The area is walkable to clubs and restaurants. Lots of shops. Be ready to be accosted on the beach by the sales peddlers selling bracelets etc - its relentless! Drinks were tasty and strong. Overall, we had a beautiful romantic trip, made some new friends, and created some lifetime memories! Would have been a 5 star rating if not for the nastiness of the timeshare sales guy!
Friendly staff and beautiful view!
The Infinity pool was nice. They were painting on our floor and the smell was horrible. They were building on our floor. Very noisy. Using the property credit was terrible. Somewhat disappointed in the entire experience. Sunday drag show was fun.
The staff (especially the reception and front desk) are extremely rude and bossy. Very abrasive customer service. At their restaurant I was served crabcakes that smelled like they were a month old - the waitress said they were “fine” - then I got food poisoning that last 3 days. The toilet in my room stopped working on the 2nd day, which was quite inconvenient given that I spent most of my trip sitting on it.
