The staff was friendly and there was a cute cat. The locations in Montmartre was great.
If it wasn't for the extremely thin walls, this would have been a decent hotel. Except for a few bathrooms in the more expensive rooms like ours, there was only one bathroom for the whole hotel. Our room was just next to this bathroom. This meant a constant flow of people coming into the hallway and closing the door to the bathroom (it sounds more like someone slamming it, due to the heavy door and big lock). When someone was using the sink, flushing, scrolling on their phone - everything could be heard clearly through the walls. Also at night. Our upstairs neighbour chose to walk around for a few hours in the middle of the night. I am sure they just walk regularly, but is sounded like Shrek stumping around. This is by far the loudest hotel I have stayed at. Some noise from your neighbours is to be expected when staying at hotels. But not on this level. On our last night I only slept a few hours due to the noise, which really ruined the day.
Other reviews states the same problem, which means that the hotel choses to ignore it.
Sadly its is low value for money here - the stay was not cheap, so I would expect a better experience. I would have loved to give it a higher rating, since the staff was really nice and the locations was great. But safe yourself and book another hotel for a good nights sleep.

Hyggeligt hotel med god betjening og søde medarbejdere. Pænt indrettet og lidt mere plads end normalt til prisen.
Og så havde vi udsigt til Sacre Cæur!
Hotellet ligger i et hyggeligt, autentisk kvarter og er placeret centralt i forhold til metroforbindelser, restauranter og barer med god mad til rimelige priser.
En udfordring at gå de 90 trin til femte sal. Men det var godt for konditionen.
Jeg var lidt bekymret for brandsikkerheden med kun een trappe/flugtvej.
Der er ret lydt mellem værelserne, men ikke megen nattestøj.
There was a bad smell coming out of the drains. The toilet was not well scrubed when we arrived; it looked clean but when I scrubbed it there was a strong smell of urea (maybe it was bleached and not cleaned properly?)

Loud at night. Room was very hot and no aircon, plus the hot water pipes went through the room without any insulation (second floor) which heated the room excessively.
Bit noisy on Friday night with other guests and neighbouring properties.
