Rude staff and poor breakfast. Not good value.

Cons:

Staff were rude and one member was carrying on texting on his phone when we asked to check in.

The weather was amazing, the views spectacular and the hospitality welcoming.
Pros:

Location amazing, breakfast, nice, room lovely. Richard on reception was super helpful checking me in early, I appreciated it very much. I had a lovely view, via 2 windows and they had supplied a fan in the room due to the heatwave.

Cons:

Parking was a small problem and I had to park on a car park elsewhere.

A comfortable hotel in a great location with a lovely view of the lake
Pros:

The location right by the lake was fabulous. It was a short walk to the ferry and the walks around the lake were lovely. Swimming in the lake was a delight. The room was comfortable and we opted not to have our room cleaned daily in exchange for a free drink at the bar. The staff coped really well with lack of water due to problems in the village which were out of their control. Bottled water was made readily available and the supply was reinstated quickly

Cons:

The parking was limited at the hotel and we ended up paying in the 24 hour car park in the village. The restaurant was very busy at times and the tables were not cleared very quickly

A very nice stay. Good price. Friendly staff and excellent location.
Pros:

Dinner was very good indeed. The best food we found in Glenridding. The staff were lovely and very hard working.

Cons:

The road is noisy and our bedroom window looked directly on to it.

A wonderful stay at The Ullswater Inn, Glenridding.
Pros:

Superb location. Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed room with en-suite. Such pleasing decor throughout. Great outdoor area. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Overall The Ullswater Inn has a welcoming, warm, and chilled feel. An excellent place to stay whilst enjoying the area and all it has to offer. I highly recommend and look very much forward to staying again.

Excellent location, great food and drink but needs some sort of air conditioning for hot Summer weather.
Pros:

Location was superb, the room was large, very clean and well presented. Car parking was good with sufficient places. The bar was excellent with a good choice of drinks and the restaurant had an excellent menu and great outdoor seating.

The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice and plentiful hot food that was replenished regularly.

Cons:

The rooms had no air conditioning with only a fan supplied and the heat was unbearable when we stayed and getting any sleep was near impossible but I appreciate it is something the hotel cannot resolve. But portable air conditioning units would be a worthwhile investment for the hotel.
