Our hotel room's decor and furnishings were very old fashioned and in need of a refurb. However, it was adequate for our needs for just 2 nights.

Updated showers and decor. I stayed at this hotel on business over 10 years ago and the rooms are exactly like they were then.
Very well located. Reception staff were nice and pleasant. Great to have night staff on duty . Staff always available at the venue. Great housekeeping. Bed was made after first nice and towels replaced. Good parking facilities. Very nice building from outside.
No refrigerator. Bed was very uncomfortable and shower water pressure was weak. Very small space if you had suitcases . Tired looking and needs a paint in the corridors. However good place for passing through

However the carpets and skirting boards are filthy in the general public areas, and need urgent attention.
The skirting boards on the landing as you come upstairs in the old part of the hotel, especially under the radiator is disgusting require a deep clean.
Also the carpet throughout needs replacing
