The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the female receptionist. The vallet service was very convenient. The restaurant food was lovely. The hotel was very clean and the room felt modern.
I thought the room was very small for a family of 4 and the price we paid. It had a double bed and a pull out sofa which was made up on arrival. Our children weren’t happy sharing a bed. The pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Having 4 people in a small room meant it was extremely hot but a fan was provided which was a help.

Beautiful hotel and comfortable and very clean. The perfect location is dreamy when you wake up to the sound of the bells going off from the cathedral. Staff was great too I'd 100 percent recommend this hotel

Single bed and poor mattress.
Location was excellent, in the shadow of the Minster. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, particularly the specialty egg dishes.
We were very disappointed that the price at which we booked the hotel was subsequently reduced, leaving us at a disadvantage for booking early. Booking.com failed to live up to its promise to price match.
Location right next to York Minster, room extremely clean with air conditioning unit and fan. Full English Breakfast was really nice. Sandwiches for lunch were gorgeous. Staff really friendly and hrlpful. Perfect stay will definitely go again! Well Done 👌
