Please note that the hotel is a very popular wedding venue, therefore some bedrooms may experience noise at the weekend. Pets Policy: Maximum 2 small dogs per room is allowed and dogs are only permitted in our standard rooms. £10 per dog, per night payable on arrival to the hotel. Please note that as the property is a listed building, it does not have a elevator. Ground floor rooms are available and subject to availability and guests can arrange this by using the Special Request Box when booking. Staff very friendly. A bit far out but easy to get taxis.
Would NEVER recommend. Room was 86 degrees with no air conditioning. Front desk staff claimed that all rooms were the same so nothing could be done, not even a room change. However when I asked another lodger about their room, they said that it was a decent temperature. We literally had to leave the front door and window open just to get the room temp down to 77 degrees. How can an entire hotel (lobby, recp., hallways) be air conditioned, but not the rooms we pay to sleep in! Will never be staying at another BW again.

The pictures don’t show the standard rooms, the shower kept going hot and cold and the shower curtain is awkwardly placed and sticks to you, the shower was dripping all night and you can hear everyone walking past the room in the morning

2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint :-) In fact it was better than our last stay. This time we had a bigger room and again the food was really good! Really comfy bed, nice decor, clean and everything was provided in the room including bottled water, a fan, biscuits, tea/coffee. Great location & parking.
Need to get rid of the shower curtain!
Room was really clean, there was also a fan in the room. Staff really friendly. Really big car park, so plenty of parking. There was a wedding happening at the time of our stay, but we heard no noise from the wedding party.
I would have liked bottled water in the room, previous Best Western Hotels we have stayed in provide bottled water. Also the beans served at breakfast could be hotter, they were luke warm.

The property was easy accessible it was clean outside had a nice beer garden and plenty of parking

Lovely location, bed was comfy, decent sized room.
The plug socket at the side of the bed was making a zapping noise with the fan plugged in, staff moved plug to another socket and it was fine, but it just mentioned we couldn't charge phones next to us, if they get it fixed though there should be no issue atall with the room.

The welcome at reception was lovely, friendly and professional. Has a really large car park too. The room was large, clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Bottled water, biscuits, toiletries and even galaxy hot chocolate. The bed was really nice and shower was very powerful with great heat. The food here was amazing and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very polite. This place will definitely staying on the favorites list.
Very minor dislike was the pillows had rubbish covers on, very paper like, not very soft and the shower head was fixed (not adjustable) apart from that, excellent.
