Please note that the hotel is a very popular wedding venue, therefore some bedrooms may experience noise at the weekend. Pets Policy: Maximum 2 small dogs per room is allowed and dogs are only permitted in our standard rooms. £10 per dog, per night payable on arrival to the hotel. Please note that as the property is a listed building, it does not have a elevator. Ground floor rooms are available and subject to availability and guests can arrange this by using the Special Request Box when booking. The hotel building is old but the interior finishes were modern and attractive. The room was comfortable and very clean.
The staff were exceptional. Genuinely friendly and helpful.
There is no lift in the building. There are a couple of rooms on the ground floor if required.

Bed was lovely and comfy and the breakfast was gorgeous lots of choice. Staff were lovely and friendly as well.
I have an injured knee and I was struggling with my suitcase up the long winding ramp. Possibly add something to make it more friendly rather than a mile trek to get up the equivalent 10 steps maybe? Felt like I couldn't ask for help even though my limp was obvious.

The family room was spacious and the bed was wonderful. The staff at both the reception and the restaurant were extremely kind and helpful. We also really enjoyed the excellent variety of options on the restaurant menu for dinner and breakfast.
While we appreciated the option of a floor bed for our child, the extra charge seemed slightly high compared to the standard nightly rate for a couple
