Please note that the hotel is a very popular wedding venue, therefore some bedrooms may experience noise at the weekend. Pets Policy: Maximum 2 small dogs per room is allowed and dogs are only permitted in our standard rooms. £10 per dog, per night payable on arrival to the hotel. Please note that as the property is a listed building, it does not have a elevator. Ground floor rooms are available and subject to availability and guests can arrange this by using the Special Request Box when booking. The staff here could not have been more accommodating to us. They went above and beyond while also putting up with some very noisy members of our group after my mother in laws funeral. Our meals were exceptional and cocktails lovely. We will absolutely be back - thank you so much!
Our room was lovely, but sadly it was slightly dusty in places, but this did not take away from how amazing the staff were.

Food incredible,they make there own short bread biscuits that melt in the mouth.room clean and well stocked tea coffee.meals at night and snacks reasonably priced the sandwhiches were worth every penny. Staff very helpful and cheerful

Hotel is fantastic, staff really friendly, food in restaurant is delicious. Breakfast excellent. Beds are supper comfy, really good night's sleep. Train is short walk, less than 10 minutes or bus just over the road into City centre. Will definitely return again
