A lovely hotel in a great country location with 5* service
Pros:

The service in the hotel was exceptional from reception checkin to evening bar and waiter service. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was really good. I had the porchetta which came with excellent crispy crackling.

Cons:

The breakfast was a little disappointing. We had hoped for a full English cooked to order, the hot items however on the hot plates were not as good as the evening meal, the hash browns were greasy and the fried eggs overcooked.

We had an enjoyable stay but wouldn’t rate it as four star.
Pros:

Lovely view of the pond. Having breakfast outside. Bed comfortable. The staff were all friendly and courteous.

Cons:

No fridge in the room even though there was clearly a space designed for it. You supplied water bottles but the water was warm. As the weather was scorching it was very disappointing.
The cooked breakfast was very dry and overcooked.The eggs and sausages were hard.
Although I had the granola and fresh fruit and yoghurt which was lovely.
We had a ploughman’s which consisted of one small thin triangle of cheese, a thin slice of ham which had come out of a packet and a couple of crusts of bread. We asked for extra salad but there was only a few tiny leaves. It didn’t resemble any other ploughman’s we have had
before and was definitely the worst ever.

Cons:

Nothing apart from a limited menu in my opinion others may disagree ….. it has recently been changed but I preceded the previous menu

Could not fault anything from the room to the food.
Pros:

The initial reaction of the receptionist to two sweaty and tired cyclists was priceless.But then valent service for our bicycles was excellent.The room and all the food we consumed was excellent ,including the never ending breakfast ,which set us up for a good days cycling.

Dishonest and untrustworthy !
Cons:

I did not like the fact that I left a very expensive set of binoculars in my room and when we notified the Hotel they informed us that they could not be found so I have had to report it to Surrey police.

Was ok but I wouldn’t go again and I would not recommend it
Pros:

The reception area was nice but restaurant was not very welcoming and very expensive for what we had and the charged 10% service charge which I think was not great considering the service was poor

Cons:

Well as I said it was not great reception you had to ring a bell for service staff very limited and I think it’s very tied needs an update
