Wonderful location with potential
Pros:

The location was brilliant, the hotel was in front of the lake and the walks around the lakes were wonderful.

Cons:

The thermal Spa was very disappointing. It was very small and some of the facilities were not working. Also the ventilation was poor there were not enough loungers for the users allowed in the thermal Spa.

Really enjoyed our 5 nights, and would recommend this hotel.
Pros:

The renovations being carried out did not cause us any inconvenience. The buffet breakfast was generous.
Our room was very spacious, bed extremely comfortable and the toiletries, etc, were very good quality.
The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and very peaceful.

Cons:

Access to the hotel requires your own transport as nearest bus stop is a quite a distance away along a narrow winding road.

Pleasant and quiet.
Pros:

All in all good value for what you pay. I would go back if I had to visit the area.....

No real complaints...the fridge had been removed from the room.

Lovely location, friendly staff, great facilities
Pros:

Location to Farnham and local walks

Cons:

Only one issue was that the usb charger ports didn’t work but adapters were supplied as soon as we informed the staff.

Very disappointing and poor experience. Not a country house.
Pros:

staff polite.

Cons:

I am unclear why I should pay to be woken up at 6.45 am on a Sunday by vibration and noise of a running machine and gym. Bar had the atmosphere of a motorway cafe. Amazing potential but not a country house and not a good experience. Breakfast service very poor. Food good.
Very disappointed and would never return.

Wonderful venue and hard working staff let down by penny pinching mentality leading to a disappointing stay.
Pros:

Well situated and designed hotel with potential

Cons:

Poorly maintained and tired . Door to fridge hangs off, ceiling stained from leaking roof hole in wall. Facilities having major building work. Understaffed and running on a shoestring. Breakfast was abysmal to the point of being laughable.

Countryside location, pleasant grounds

Cons:

Very noisy guests located in the next room, ongoing building works that were not stated in advance, only the bar restaurant was open which was tiny, and restaurant service was poor with both the starter and main being provided incorrectly. No hot buffet food options available (all hot food provided to order) so no good if you are on a tight schedule

Beautiful setting and lovely rooms.
Pros:

Gorgeous setting. They are currently updating the hotel- so it wasn't perfect- but I imagine that it will be great when it's done. Lots of promise.

Cons:

Signage- but mainly due to the renovations.
