Teleurstelling en voor de gek gehouden met de foto’s.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed. Het Indiase eten ook. De bedjening aan de balie in de ochtend was goed.

Cons:

Het is niet wat het lijkt. Geen fijne moderne douche maar een gedateerd bad in douche en badkamer.
De meubels waren Indiaas of zoiets en niet om comfortabel op de zitten. Je moest of liggen of op een kruk zitten.
Het restaurant gaf goed Indiaas eten maar het was een ongezellige holklinkende ruimte waar de hele avond werd gekletterd met borden. Wat men daar deed, onbegrijpelijk. Er waren maar enkele gasten.
Het hotel is in renovatie en men maakt er een Pakistaans of Indiaas hotel van. Zodoende was het slordig. Dan vraag je niet de volle prijs.
Het raarste was dat we door allemaal nauwe trapjes op en af met een koffer moesten zeulen. Het personeel wipte met een klein handkoffertje de trappen op en af. Mijn man is 77. Om daarna ons een comfortabele grote trap te wijzen die we dus ook hadden kunnen gebruiken.
Het uitzicht lijkt heel wat maar het meer is ver weg.
Die prijs klopt niet. Veel te duur! We hebben daarna de rekening opgevraagd bij Booking en nooit gekregen.

A very nice place to stay but just need to improve dinner service a little

Welcoming staff at a very nice setting . Just a stones throw away from the pond/lake . Lovely food even if we only had one evening meal and a couple of breakfasts . Nice and quiet

Cons:

The service at dinner was a lot lower than we expected . We placed our order and 30 minutes later we were told that the lettuce was no good for those who had ordered salad . It then took another 5 minutes for a menu for those people to be able to re-choose . Once the meals arrived I had to wait another 10 minures to get my meal even though I did'nt change my order . Apart from the that the dining experience was good

Nice hotel
Pros:

Great size room and we'll equipped.

Cons:

2 things room was vold and no instructions on how to use the heating.
I was also disappointed as I paid for early check in as I needed to be at a wedding. Friends at the same wedding arrived at the hotel and ask to leave bags were told you can go to your room now arrived same time charged nothing.

Stayed for a nearby wedding so location good otherwise definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Very slow bar service and bar not busy.
We were unaware that a refurb was going on when we booked. No atmosphere in hotel. Bar area needs soft furnishings. Dinner disappointing. Frozen pizza bases and a very small breast of chicken in a burger with hot coleslaw?! Very disappointing.
