Excellent quality and value. Very close to the City Center. The catering is outstanding and to an exceptional standard. People visit just for the meals as well.
We’ve visited thrice and were always offered decent rooms and any special need was kindly accommodated. It has an upscale yet family friendly atmosphere.

Room was so small, wasn't anywhere to put your things in the bathroom and linen was horrible
Friendly staff, arrived early but room was available. Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast and again very friendly, will certainly use again.

Mixer tap on shower would be nice. A little bit too far out from the centre of Norwich. Why does the hotel have 2 names ? Why does Google Maps think the George hotel is in the centre of Norwich?

Noisy water system - every time someone used a tap or toilet it was very noisy but can't be helped.
All of the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful! The dinner was nice too but the breakfast was exceptional! The bed was super comfy too and generally very clean! Very homely feeling and the bedroom was super spacious
There was some hair in the shower and the taps were a little dirty but I think that was a build up over time (in the tap creases, not the actual handles). Otherwise the rooms and restaurant were rather clean
We often visit Norwich and try to stay at The George if we can. It’s a lovely, stylish small hotel in a good location. The beds are really comfy so we always get a good night’s sleep. The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner.

Staff were friendly and polite. Food excellent, especially the Sunday roast. Breakfast was also very good. Accommodation was clean and bright.
Lovely room. I checked in very late but that wasnt a problem as staff man reception 24 hrs a day
24 hour room service would have been much appreciated in an ideal world
