Great location. Short walk into the city centre. Free on-site parking. Fantastic staff. Always get a very warm welcome. Comfortable room and bed. Good evening menu and breakfast. Try the scones!
Great location, clean and warm
A little tired
The room was clean and well maintained.
The bed was hard and needed replacing. The bathroom was clean but had no fittings were present to facilitate easy access and egress when using the bath. I didn’t include breakfast but decided on the following morning to have one. The listed charge was £13.95 and included tea and toast on settling the bill I was charged £17.95 as tea etc was only included if breakfast was pre booked. Absolutely disgraceful I was a guest of the hotel and should not have been charged extra.

Liked the cosy room seperate from main hotel, good for bringing pets.
The food quality and taste is completely misaligned with the high prices. Either need a new chef and updated menu or lower food prices.

A second easy chair in the room would have been nice; comfier for watching TV for us oldies than sitting in bed! But we were only with you for two nights, so really no complaints!
