Please note that the snow hotel, ice restaurant and ice bar are only open from the 15th of December until the 31st of March. Kindly be advised that Arctic SnowHotel needs to be re-built every year, and the construction takes place from October to December. This might cause some disturbance.

There is no public transport between Rovaniemi and Arctic Glass Igloos but the hotel arranges transfer upon request. Please contact Arctic Glass for further information.

Pros:

Ubytování mimo světla měst, pro pozorování polární záře. My jsme bohužel přes oblačnost nic neviděli. Na druhé straně vás hned brzy ráno vzbudí světlo, skrz střechu, kterou nijak nezatáznete. Teplota uvnitř byla nižší než příjemná. Na recepci se mohlo požádat o zvýšení. Výborná bohatá snídaně.

Cons:

Poměrně drahé na přespání i když unikátní. Nutný objednaný transfer nebo půjčené auto, nejezdí zde MHD. V ubytování by se hodila mikrovlnná trouba na ohřev jídla.

It’s nice concept about a snow hotel, but if there is no snow the stay will not worth

Still worth it even during off season, they DON'T CUT CORNERS!!!
Pros:

1. The location is pretty remote and hence good for aurora sightings.
2. The breakfast is exceptional, it's a buffet with high quality and a plethora of choices .
3. The aurora alert does work!

Cons:

1. There's so many obstacles around it when it comes to the aurora in that sometimes the northern lights might not be high in the sky, but low around the horizon.
2. The motion detector lights attached to every hut were super annoying, it really ruined the aurora experience.

Really nice !
Pros:

The place was perfect to watch the sky.
Parking lot free of charge.
Nice buffet for breakfast and dinner with a large choice of Finnish plates.
Staff really kind and attentive.

Cons:

It will be good to remind to all persons staying during the night to switch off lights as much as possible (like not forgetting the bathroom for example) in the glass igloos so the others around can enjoy the sky better.

Die Iglus sind super gemütlich, die Betten waren ein Traum, das Essen außergewöhnlich gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Cons:

Der Shuttle für Personen ohne Auto ist zu teuer, Bus Anbindung gibt es nicht. Mit Kindern reicht eine Nacht, es gibt wenig zu tun dort 🙃

a likttle away from the town and dark enough to watch the northern lights when the conditions ar right: wasnt the night i stayed ther but it snowed and was nice too.very freindly staff, everything is in order, explained well.the igloo itself is quite a size and almost hemispherical.
less space for 4 but the 2 person igloo should have adequate room.
the whole set up is nice and they even have an alarm when the aurora is visible

limited hot water and got to time your baths.
the igloo behind me had its ceiling lights on through the night causing a light nuisance in an otherwise dark night.some people just wont learn.

Great place to stay, though obviously probably a bit better once the Arctic Snowhotel is built.
Pros:

Somehow I was the only guest on the night I stayed. Even so, they went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay and was offered all normal services - ice bar, main restaurant. I was given a tour of the facility and also shown a video giving the history of the hotel. Such an amazing set up. The aurora even was on display that night, after several nights of cloudy and rainy weather in Rovaniemi where I had been staying prior. I had an early morning start due to an early train, so didn't get a lot of sleep that night, but it was still a wonderful stay.

Pros:

Die Glas-Igloos waren super schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten konnte man elektronisch verstellen, Kopfteil usw., so dass man abends wunderbar die Aurora Borealis aus dem Bett anschauen konnte.
Das Frühstück war super toll und es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Rundum war das Hotel ein besonderes Erlebnis. Ich würde gerne wieder kommen, vor allem wenn im Winter der Schnee liegt und es noch beschaulicher ist.

Cons:

Das 3. Gänge-Menü war super lecker, allerdings finde ich 69 € etwas zu viel. Aber man muss ja nicht jeden Tag dort Essen. Die Eisbar war auch sehr schön allerdings finde ich auch dort 12,50 € für einen kleinen Baillys im Eisglas etwas übertrieben. Ich denke die Leute würden die Eisbar mehr annehmen, wenn die Preise moderater wären. Ansonsten kann ich mich über nichts beschweren.

Noorderlicht alarm, vuurtje bij het meer, iglo met glazen dak. Lieve en behulpzame medewerkers.

Cons:

Het diner wat wordt aangeboden vond ik niet echt iets wat ik nog een keer zou doen. Mocht je een auto hebben ga lekker de stad in en daar wat eten. Ontbijtbuffet was helemaal prima voor Scandinavische begrippen

Personal war super nett und freundlich. Glasiglus waren wie beschrieben, gemütlich und sauber. Frühstück war auch super.

Cons:

Es fehlten noch 1-2 Möglichkeiten / Ideen tagsüber was zu machen (waren im Herbst dort).
