Gardenview Hotel

Good place, Clean rooms. A/C didnt work correctly and bed was a pretty hard. Staff were fantastic. Hotel was a nice place overall. Just wish the bed was not a rock and the A/C worked correctly. It was either all the way on or off, no in between.

I normally leave good reviews but not this time... Newish hotel in very dirty condition. Really bad. Infested with cockroaches. Filthy place. Avoid.

Hidden Gem in Angeles! Highly recommend staying here.

Great hidden little gem. Close to the nightlife yet away from the drama. My rooms were clean and I had no problems there. The staff were pretty good as well. I also loved the hotel restaurant and pool. I recommend it. A good bang for your buck.

Very nice place. Just a couple blocks from the main street, so very quiet. Room was very clean and comfortable. A bit small though. We stayed in a standard room. Next time will try the deluxe. Would stay again. Definitely recommend the Gardenview.

Took over 30 minutes to check in. Did not have my resevevation. After going to the room...gave me the wrong size room. Had to go back to the desk. She had to call someone on the phone to give me the correct size room. Got to my room and the shower was not working no water. Informed the front desk at 10pm and they stated that they would fix the problem while i was out. Get back at 2am go to take a shower no water. Gto the front desk and ask why they did not fix the water they stated i was not in the room so they could not enter (a lie, becase they knew i was going out when i reported it a 10pm). Thay then send some one to the room who checks that the water is not working..duh....then says nothing can be done untill the maintenance come in.Fed up i checked out at 230 in the morning....i was only ofered another room when i stated that i was leaving.

Intimate small hotel. Complimentary shuttle to nearby points of interest. friendly staff. rooms run small.

Staff from at front desk, security and housekeeping all efficient and courteous. Facility continues to improve- lobby better- moved- constructed since 6 months ago. Good value for price of room. WiFi speed above average for area. Place might be hard to find for some taxi and trike drivers... and suggest you have google maps or some print out on first visit. Also helps if you reference "behind ABC Hotel" if your driver not familiar with directions to this hotel. Noise level inside rooms variable.. usually quiet but not all the time. Some rare times, the Karaoke place next door or passing "Jeepneys" can be heard. In addition to all that has been said about the little swimming pool... I personally think it pool is cute, charming and just perfect for a small operation like this place. Pool is very clean, lights at night charming.

Rooms are kinda small but very clean,the location is great and accessible to the main road. reasonable price.

Front desk agents are very hospitable, with great smiles, and very helpful.

To the management : fix the shower heads, provide better flow of water.

The room was small but comfortable

All staff was pleasant and front desk helpful. Only drawback was the outdoor lighting to the room at night. The corridor was very dark and I requested twice to have bulbs replaced/checked, but corridor remained dark entire stay. Hotel clean and would repeat stay.

bedding/AC comfortable! for a three star place. Room inicially had damp feeling... relieved by staff setting up AC to run in room even though I nobody inside (with extra hotel key card). I was given a windowless King room which I liked since i was getting myself acclimatized to my next destination's time zone. Like review said- staff did their best to accomodate my requests. What they lacked in anticipation of my needs, they made up for in delivering my requests whenever I asked. great value for the price. Tiny pool oft mentioned- I thought eclectic... very clean.

Great hotel close to good restaurants and nightlife!

Stayed only two nights. First, the good things: The hotel is fairly new and in very good condition. The bed linens are clean and nice, bed was firm but actually quite comfortable. We were in room 01 which was quite spacious (it may have been one of their larger rooms, but was their only vacancy when booked.) Floor and bathroom were very clean. Hot water in the shower was from a point of use heater which was adequate. Hotel provides two bottles of complimentary water every day. Room included a mini fridge/minibar with reasonable prices. Our room also had a microwave and extra sink which we did not use.

Now the bad: Hotel did not make up the room after the first night. I asked why, and they said they normally do make up rooms daily, but maybe I had a sign out? I said "No, I don't even have a sign to display." At least they were nice enough to bring fresh towels and water. Wardrobe door was warped. Also, the AC remote clearly had power, but could not communicate with the AC unit. They tried changing batteries, but this had no effect. The AC was stuck at 22 for the whole trip which was just slightly too warm. The hotel did not provide soap or shampoo either. Really!!? That is very cheap cheap cheap!

Don't know. The rooms were small and the neighborhood, off the main road, appeared to be a dangerous area, so we did not stay. We booked another hotel.

This is the best value in the area. Standard room is on the smaller side, but has everything you need. Close to many points of interest and internet consistently working. I have stayed here many times and keep coming back when in the area.

It was a one nigh stay but started as stressful and disappointing at check in. For some reason they didn't have a record of my paid reservation. Asked me several question which I answered and still didn't help them to find my reservation. I felt that they weren't either trying hard to find it or they were just pretending to look or they expected me to just gave up and walk away. I had a long day and getting tired and wasn't up to this inconvinience of checking in and besides it was a non refundable reservation, After going back and forth with the front desk people, I finally gave up and requested a letter to state that they didn't have a record of my reservation so I won't have a problem getting a refund with expedia and will look for a different hotel. That's when the front desk called somebody over the phone and said they found it. What a mess!!!

Once were checked in and were inside our room, I found the bathroom to be extremely small, my knees touched the wall when I sat down at the toilet bowl, step over the toilet bowl to get to the shower, and squeezed myself between the toilet bowl and the side wall to get in and out of the bathroom. the rest of the room was ok.

A great hotel in a good location the rooms are a little on the small side but I found the service and everything else very good.

Flying out at 1 AM, took a chance on a 10-hour stay in a 'Budget' Hotel at (Rhod's)Driver Service's suggestion. Some nice surprises proving that 'small' can seem 'big'! (+) small home-style pool that visiting 8-year old adored...Flat TV, close to foot of bed, has super HBO package (best cable of 5 hotels in 7 nights). No outdoor noise (Halls) or window noise (traffic), a sleeping plus. (-) bathroom incredibly small; but forgivable with all the other pluses and price/value.
